HAIR CLIP APPARATUS
A hair clip apparatus includes a tongue, a clasp and a plurality of hair engaging teeth. The clasp cooperates with the tongue to retain the hair in a desired styling effect. The hair engaging teeth are spaced from the clasp and the tongue to engage hair surrounding the clasp and the tongue. The hair clip apparatus is retained in the volume of hair by trapping the hair between the clasp and the tongue, and also via the hair engaging teeth. The hair engaging teeth also are arranged to retain and secure hair between adjacent teeth, and also trap hair between the inner surfaces of the teeth and the base and/or tongue.
ELASTIC HAIR CLIP
A hair clip includes an elastic clip body frame having a base portion and first and second frame arms extended from the base portion and terminating in a respective free end portion, and one or two clamping arms extended from the base portion of the elastic clip body frame and suspending between the first and second frame arms. The width of each clamping arm gradually reduces from the root portion toward the free end. Subject to the gradually reducing width design of each clamping arm from the base portion toward the free end, two hair-clamping spaces are respectively defined between the first and second frame arms and the clamping arms for holding hair.
Selectively Positionable Hands Free Clipping Device
A selectively positionable hands free clipping device for use in cutting and styling of hair includes a coupler, which can selectively engage an element of a chair, such as an armrest or seatback. An arm is engaged to and extends from the coupler. The arm is flexible and thus can be bent into a plurality of shapes. A hair clip engaged to the arm distal from the coupler can selectively engage a lock of hair. The arm can be bent into a respective shape to selectively position the hair clip relative to the chair. The clip can be used to hold the lock of hair, allowing it to be cut precisely, colored, frosted, and the like.
