A mobile device handle accessory designed to maintain the compact nature of the mobile device, secure a user's hand to the device in order to decrease the likelihood of dropping the mobile device, and minimize the detrimental effects of non-ergonomic hand position during prolonged mobile device use. Herein is described a mobile device handle accessory.

Provided is a grip apparatus for a portable device. The grip apparatus includes a base unit mounted on the portable device, a sliding hole formed in the base unit in a longitudinal direction of the base unit, a pair of sliders inserted into the sliding hole and independently movable along the sliding hole, and a band unit coupled to the pair of sliders and deformed to form a space, into which a finger is insertable, as at least one of the pair of sliders is moved.

Provided is a grip apparatus for a portable device. A support system which allows for the use and mounting of a smart phone, or similar electronic device, in a variety of ways. The support system may be adapted to function as a hand grip while supporting the smart phone during image acquisition, or while watching images on the smart phone. In another configuration, the support system may be adapted to attach to the user's belt. In another configuration, the support system may function as a support stand. In another configuration, the support system may be mounted on a tripod. The support system may include a kit of parts which allow for the modification of support accessories to allow for different configurations. The support system may include a removable shutter which may actuate the camera functions via wireless communication.

A support system which allows for the use and mounting of a smart phone, or similar electronic device, in a variety of ways. Exemplary embodiments of a portable accessory holder are provided. The apparatus can include a housing having a top portion, a bottom portion, a front portion, a rear portion, a first side and a second side, and a hinge provided on the front portion. The hinge can include a first leaf secured to the front portion of the housing, the first leaf having a first side and a second side opposite the first side, a second leaf rotatably secured to the first side of the first leaf, the second leaf including a magnet, the second leaf being configured to rotate away from the first leaf and against the front portion of the housing, and a third leaf rotatably secured to the second side of the first leaf, the third leaf including a magnet, the third leaf being configured to rotate away from the first leaf and against the front portion of the housing.

Exemplary embodiments of a portable accessory holder are provided. The apparatus can include a housing having a top portion, a bottom portion, a front portion, a rear portion, a first side and a second side, and a hinge provided on the front portion. The hinge can include a first leaf secured to the front portion of the housing, the first leaf having a first side and a second side opposite the first side, a second leaf rotatably secured to the first side of the first leaf, the second leaf including a magnet, the second leaf being configured to rotate away from the first leaf and against the front portion of the housing, and a third leaf rotatably secured to the second side of the first leaf, the third leaf including a magnet, the third leaf being configured to rotate away from the first leaf and against the front portion of the housing.

A universal handle attachment tool comprises a body having a plurality of tool sides each having a container interface surface operable to engage a face of a particular container, and having a container handle interface slot operable to receive a handle of the container. The slot can comprise a keyed profile operable to interface and lock the handle attachment tool to the container. The container interface surface extends in opposing directions beyond the slot to facilitate distribution of one or more loads acting between the face of the container and the handle attachment tool to facilitate manipulation of the container. A container for storage of at least one object comprises a container body defined by a plurality of sidewalls, and a recessed portion formed a sidewall defining a recessed cavity. The container has a handle spanning the recessed cavity, whereby the recessed cavity facilitates clearance of at least one finger of a user upon grasping the handle.

A phone grip attachment includes a base configured for attachment to a phone and a finger-hold attached to the base. The finger-hold has a top member and a bottom member. The finger-hold is movable between an extended position in which an opening is defined between the top member and the bottom member for use in gripping the phone and a collapsed position in which the top member is substantially flat against the bottom member. The finger-hold can be biased to the extended position. The finger-hold can be rotatably attached to the base.

A phone grip attachment includes a base configured for attachment to a phone and a finger-hold attached to the base. The finger-hold has a top member and a bottom member. The finger-hold is movable between an extended position in which an opening is defined between the top member and the bottom member for use in gripping the phone and a collapsed position in which the top member is substantially flat against the bottom member. The finger-hold can be biased to the extended position. The finger-hold can be rotatably attached to the base.
