An apparatus for dispensing a material from a cartridge comprises a dispensing head having a passage therethrough, the passage extending from a receiving socket to a dispensing orifice through said dispensing head, an outer casing, securable to the dispensing head and rotatably relative to the dispensing head and an end cap threadably received within the dispensing head and having an end connector disposed towards the dispensing head. The receiving socket and the end connector are adapted to receive the cartridge so as to rotatably fix the end cap relative to the dispensing head wherein rotation of the outer casing threadably moves the end cap in a longitudinal direction thereby compressing the cartridge between the dispensing head and the end cap. A kit may include the apparatus and a cartridge extending between first and second ends and having an interior adapted to contain a substance to be dispensed therefrom.

A cosmetic container with an application member includes a cylindrical barrel, a core, a bottle that is configured to accommodate cosmetic and has an opening, a sleeve, and a joint that has an opening portion and a closed portion. The sleeve is configured to expose the application member or cover an outer circumference of the application member by a sliding operation of the sleeve. When the sleeve slides for exposing the application member, the opening portion overlaps with the opening so that the cosmetic passes through the opening portion and the opening. When the sleeve slides for covering the outer circumference of the application member, the closed portion overlaps with the opening to prevent the cosmetic from passing through between the joint and the bottle.

A hair brush system includes a brush housing having a handle neck portion and a fluid reservoir for holding a viscous fluid therein. The fluid reservoir is disposed within the brush housing. The hair brush system includes a plunger plate for engaging in the fluid reservoir of a gel or other viscous fluid product. The plunger plate is disposed within the brush housing. Valve devices are dispersed in a brush head, wherein the valves are fluidly coupled to the reservoir upon movement of the plunger plate from a first position to a second position upon engagement of a user.

A cosmetic container with an application member includes a cylindrical barrel, a core, a bottle that is configured to accommodate cosmetic and has an opening, a sleeve, and a joint that has an opening portion and a closed portion. The sleeve is configured to expose the application member or cover an outer circumference of the application member by a sliding operation of the sleeve. When the sleeve slides for exposing the application member, the opening portion overlaps with the opening so that the cosmetic passes through the opening portion and the opening. When the sleeve slides for covering the outer circumference of the application member, the closed portion overlaps with the opening to prevent the cosmetic from passing through between the joint and the bottle.

A device for applying lotion to skin is disclosed. The device has a dispenser body for holding lotion, a brush on the head of the dispenser body and a piston inserted into an end of the dispenser body. The piston travels up and down a spindle connected to the handle at the end of the dispenser body. The piston is driven toward the head of the dispenser body by manually rotating the handle connected to the spindle to dispense the lotion onto the brush for application to the skin.

A built-in toothpaste type toothbrush structure includes toothbrush casing, toothpaste inner tube, knob switch, toothpaste storage handle and pushing structure. The toothbrush casing includes a toothbrush head, an accommodating space, and an outlet and a socketing portion. The toothbrush casing is sheathed on the toothpaste inner tube and has a toothpaste channel inside, and the toothpaste storage handle is connected integrally with the toothpaste inner tube for storing toothpaste, and the pushing structure is installed in the toothpaste storage handle to push the toothpaste to the toothbrush head. A paint applicator, kit and methodology for using the same is disclosed. For example, a paint applicator that allows a user to load a desired amount of paint, such as a water based or other low VOC paint, into the paint applicator and an advancement mechanism that dispenses paint at a rate controllable by the user is disclosed. The advancement mechanism can include a system that translates a rotational force applied to an end cap of the applicator into a linear force that advances a piston which in turn applies paint to an applicator portion. The paint applicator may be reusable or may include a ratchet system that allows for only one time use. The methodology and kit can incorporate a syringe for loading paint into the paint applicator, thus reducing the loss of paint through spilling.
