Head for an oral care implement and oral care implement
A head for an oral care implement comprises a number of colored filaments extending from a mounting surface of the head and being grouped together to define an initial color pattern. The colored filaments comprise at least a first and a second type of filament, wherein the types of filaments differ in color changing characteristics over a pre-defined period of time, the pre-defined period of time being the same for the first and the second type of filament so that the initial color pattern changes color characteristics over at least a first pre-defined period of time to a first color pattern, the first color pattern being different form the initial color pattern.
Electric toothbrush adopting force sensing array
There is provided an electric toothbrush including a toothbrush head, a toothbrush handle and a force sensing array. The force sensing array is arranged on the toothbrush head and/or the toothbrush handle. When the force sensing array is arranged on the toothbrush head, it is able to detect the force uniformity of brush hairs. When the force sensing array is arranged on the toothbrush handle, it is able to control the vibration strength of the brush hairs and detect the pressing force of the brush hairs.
Head for an oral care implement and oral care implement
A head for an oral care implement comprises a number of colored filaments of different types. The filaments extend from a mounting surface of the head and are grouped together to define an initial color pattern. At least two types of filament have staggered time-controlled color changing properties, wherein each of said type of filament changes its color within pre-defined time periods, the pre-defined time periods being different from each other so that the initial color pattern changes color characteristics over at least a first pre-defined period of time to a first color pattern and over a subsequent second pre-defined period of time to a second color pattern, the second pattern being different from the first pattern.

BRUSH ENCODING DEVICE FOR SYSTEM TO PROMOTE OPTIMUM PERFORMANCE OF HANDHELD COSMETIC DEVICE
A personal care appliance is provided that includes a brushhead for use in skincare; an appliance body having a motor assembly for oscillating the brushhead, wherein the brushhead or a portion of the motor assembly that is configured to oscillate includes a marking; and a brush encoder configured to detect the marking, and determine the oscillation of the brushhead.
SYSTEM TO PROMOTE OPTIMUM PERFORMANCE OF HANDHELD COSMETIC DEVICE
A system to promote optimum performance of a personal care appliance is provided including: a personal care appliance having an appliance status; and a client device, in communication with the appliance, including circuitry configured to compare the appliance status with the protocol for using the appliance, control display of an indicator based on the comparison.
Oral care instrument
An oral hygiene implement is described herein. The oral hygiene implement has a handle; a head, and a neck disposed between the handle and the head. The head has a plurality of contact elements. An indication element is positioned between the neck and handle of the oral hygiene element. A transmission element is positioned between the indication element and a light emitting source. The light emitting source provides electromagnetic energy to the transmission element.
Oral health care implement and system with oximetry sensor
An oral health care implement and system are provided for use during oral health care activities. The oral health care implement has an oximetry sensor, most often in the embodiment of a transmissive or reflective pulse oximeter. The oximetry sensor provides blood oxygen saturation and heart rate measurements. The oral health care system has an oral health care implement, a first data transfer medium, and any combination of: a second data transfer medium, a network storage device, and a third data transfer medium. The system provides means for collecting a user's vital signs and transmitting data into a readable, usable form for the user via an oral health care implement.
Connected dental device
A system for providing a connected dental device is disclosed. In particular, the system may include integrating a network chip or transceiver into a dental device, such as a toothbrush, so as to enable the dental device to communicate with a user device and one or more accessory devices. Once the user device and one or more accessory devices are paired with the user device, the system may track information associated with the dental device and the user using the dental device. Based on the tracked information, the system may determine an action to be performed by the user using the dental device. Using the dental device, the system may transmit a notification to the user device to alert the user of the action that needs to be performed. The system may also transmit notifications providing status information for the dental device and the one or more accessory devices.
Dual head tooth cleaning appliances
Described herein are electronic dual-head tooth cleaning appliances that facilitates simultaneous front and rear surface cleaning of individual teeth. The tooth cleaning appliances or devices can be rechargeable, portable, lightweight and electronic.
