Oral care process
An oral care process which includes initiating a first operational sequence which includes generating an electric potential between a first sacrificial electrode and a second sacrificial electrode, the electric potential in the first operational sequence beginning with one of a first polarity and a second polarity, stopping the first operational sequence, and commencing a second operational sequence which includes generating the electric potential between the first sacrificial electrode and the second sacrificial electrode. The electric potential in the second operational sequence may begin with the other of the first polarity and the second polarity. The electric potential may be alternated between the first polarity and the second polarity at predetermined intervals during at least one of the first operational sequence and the second operational sequence.
TEETH CLEANING SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USE
A teeth cleaning system, which provides improved coverage or brushing area. The system includes an actuated tray comprises brushing elements. The brushing elements may be positioned to engage the front, rear, and top surfaces of the upper and lower jaw teeth. The actuation may be configured to oscillate the tray in a lateral direction which may brush all the surfaces of teeth simultaneously. Some embodiments include a higher density of bristles which increases the effectiveness of brushing. In addition, aspects of the system reduce the time spent brushing teeth.
ORAL CARE DEVICE AND METHOD
An oral care device (8) adapted to generate an RF field for performing an oral cleaning function. The device includes a cleaning unit (10) for receipt in the mouth which includes a conductor arrangement (18, 19) which is driven with a drive signal to generate an RF field which cleans surfaces in the mouth. Means is further provided for sensing an electrical or electromagnetic signal arising from interaction of the RF energy with bodies in the mouth, for performing a sensing function with the same RF system components used for generating the RF field for cleaning or treatment.
ELECTRIC TOOTHBRUSH
The present invention relates to an electric toothbrush that includes a head part and a handle part having a shape connectable to the head part and supplying a driving voltage to the head part according to a user's control. The head part may include a toothbrush head formed with a plurality of bristle holes where toothbrush bristles are disposed and a first through hole and a second through hole spaced apart from each other, a head body extending from the toothbrush head and having an inner passage connected to the first through hole and the second through hole, a head cover which closes the inner passage of the head body, and a first electrode rod and a second electrode rod inserted through the inner passage of the head body, whose one ends being positioned in the first through hole and the second through hole, respectively, and the other ends being exposed to the outside through the head cover, respectively.
TOOTHBRUSH FOR PROMOTING PLAQUE REMOVAL AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR
A toothbrush for promoting plaque removal, and a manufacturing method therefor are proposed. The toothbrush includes: a head part in which elements for cleaning teeth are arranged; a first electrode on the head part; a second electrode on the head part, the second electrode being spaced a predetermined distance from the first electrode and grounded; and a voltage supply part configured to superpose alternating current (AC) voltage and direct current (DC) voltage and apply the AC voltage and the DC voltage together to the first electrode.
Oral care system including an oral care implement and a tracking attachment, tracking attachment thereof, and method of assembling the same
An oral care system that includes an oral care implement and a tracking attachment. The oral care implement may include a handle and a head. The tracking attachment is detachably coupled to the oral care implement. The tracking attachment may include a housing including a first housing portion having an inner surface that defines a first cavity and a second housing portion having an inner surface that defines a second cavity. The tracking attachment may also include a tracking unit configured to facilitate tracking at least one of a position, orientation, or movement of the oral care implement to which it is attached. A first portion of the handle may be positioned within the first cavity and a second portion of the handle may be positioned within the second cavity.
Mist spraying hair brush with retractable bristles
A mist spraying hair brush with retractable bristles includes a brush body, an actuating shaft, a mist spraying assembly, and a housing containing these components. The actuating shaft has a bended portion. When the actuating shaft is rotated and the bended portion pushes the brush body, multiple bristles of the brush body extend out of the housing. The mist spraying assembly has an electric oscillation assembly and an injection portion. The injection portion communicates with the oscillation assembly, such that liquid flows to the oscillation assembly via the injection portion and is atomized into spray. Then the spray flows out of the housing. The mist spraying hair brush with retractable bristles is small in size and is convenient in storage. Moreover, the multiple bristles can retract into the housing, so the multiple bristles will not be bended when carried in a bag full of objects.
PERSONAL CARE SYSTEM
A personal care system has a personal care device including a memory unit, a display unit, a first wireless communication unit, and a separate input device comprising a second wireless communication unit arranged for wireless communication with the first wireless communication unit. The separate input device is arranged for allowing a user to provide text data or picture data or for selecting text data or picture data from a database, wherein the separate input device is arranged to wirelessly send the provided or selected text or picture data to the personal care device, which is arranged to receive the wirelessly sent data and to store that into a memory of the memory unit and to use the received data in replacement of previously stored default text data or picture data for user communication on the display unit.
ORAL CLEANING AND/OR TREATMENT DEVICE AND METHOD OF CONFIGURING THE SAME
An oral cleaning and/or treatment device includes electrodes for emitting RF energy for providing an oral cleaning and/or treatment function. The device includes a cleaning unit for receipt in an oral cavity which includes at least a first and second protruding member, which protrude in a same general direction away from abase or support structure. Each member comprises one or more electrodes or conductive elements for emitting RF energy. The device generates an RF field in a space between and around the electrodes by driving the electrodes with an RF signal generator. The device includes means, either mechanical or electrical, for varying a generated RF field pattern (e.g. spatial intensity distribution) between different settings. The device is in particular configurable in at least two modes or settings, each associated with a different respective field pattern or spatial intensity distribution. This is valuable for adapting the cleaning functionality to different required purposes.
Oral care system
An oral care implement including a handle and an oral care refill head. The handle has a gripping portion, an engagement component coupled to a distal end of the gripping portion, and a stem. The engagement component includes a plate portion and a first engagement feature. The stem extends through an opening in the engagement component and protrudes from the plate portion. The oral care refill head includes an oral care treatment portion and a sleeve portion. The sleeve portion has an inner surface that defines a sleeve cavity having a cavity axis and a second engagement feature. When the oral care refill head is detachably coupled to the handle, the first and second engagement features mate with one another to at least one of: (1) position the oral care refill head and the handle in an operational alignment; and (2) lock the oral care refill head to the handle.
