Toothbrush having dental floss
A toothbrush having Dental floss includes a main body having a cartridge housing portion formed in an upper portion at one end and a brush portion formed in a lower portion thereof and a floss cartridge, which includes a bridge for cleaning as area between teeth, having a first gear, a second gear and a floss, wherein the floss cartridge is attachable and detachable to and from the cartridge housing portion, wherein a new floss stored in the floss cartridge is fed by the first gear in the floss cartridge, and the used floss is wound by the second gear.
DENTAL CLEANING DEVICE
A dental cleaning device, including a main body to facilitate gripping thereof, a plurality of bristles disposed on at least a portion of a first end of the main body to facilitate brushing of at least one tooth, and a floss compartment disposed within at least a portion of a second end of the main body, the floss compartment including a floss roll to coil a line of floss, a floss dispensing aperture connected to the floss roll to receive the line of floss therethrough from the floss roll, and a blade disposed around the floss dispensing aperture to cut the line of floss.
Arbitrary motion toothbrush
A method and apparatus permitting arbitrary, relative motions of a distal end of a toothbrush or flosser with respect to a handle with real-time selectable motions. The toothbrush has a handle and a post, with a mechanism mechanically coupling the handle to the post permitting relative translational movement of the post with respect to the handle.
Oral Hygiene Device
An oral hygiene device, which comprises a main body not provided with a region forming a handle, with dimensions that allow the device to be completely inserted into the mouth area of a user, said main body (11, 21, 31, 41) supporting at least one piece of dental floss (12, 22, 32, 42), where said piece of floss (12, 22, 32, 42) defines at least one cleaning zone, wherein the main body (11, 21, 31, 41) has two separate support regions each configured to support the ends of a piece of floss (12, 22, 32, 42), in the form of protruding projections that extend away from a central portion. This device for oral hygiene is based on cleaning with dental floss, not being provided with any region forming a handle or the like since it does not require the use of hands during its use.
ORAL HYGIENE DEVICE
An oral hygiene device in the form of a toothbrush 10 comprises a handle section 12, a cartridge 14 containing a cleaning composition held under gas pressure, an actuating mechanism 16 and a head section 18. The cartridge has a discharge opening at a front end thereof, which includes a control valve 26 comprising a valve stem 27. The actuating mechanism 16 includes a plunger 40 and a lever formation 38 which acts on the plunger. The lever formation is acted upon by a hand-operated actuating button 58 for dispensing the plunger rearwardly for depressing the valve stem 27 for releasing cleaning composition from the cartridge causing the cleaning composition to be conveyed under gas pressure along passage 48 of the valve stem and into passages 46, 32, 37 and 29 where it is discharged via opening 31 at a distal end of the head section 18 onto bristles 28.
Connected health care system
A connected health care system is provided with various devices for tracking and monitoring health statistics and behaviors including oral health, fitness, heart health, bone health, salivary diagnostics, diabetes, and further options that will be explored in the subsequent sections. The connected health care system is comprised of various devices, a data transfer medium (i.e. “smartphone”), and the Cloud, which allows for data transfer between multiple platforms and devices. Some devices comprised in the connected health care system include a toothbrush, a connected surface with sensors, a salivary diagnostic system, a breath analysis system, and further devices that will be explored in the subsequent sections. The connected health care system further provides a user identification system utilizing capacitive coupling of the human body between devices.
DENTAL CLEANING DEVICE
An oral hygiene system including a head with a base portion with arms extending to support a gum sweep and flossing filament. The system may include removeable heads with different configurations directed to different oral environments and uses.
Dental flosser
In one embodiment, a dental flosser includes a handle and a housing coupled to the handle. The housing includes a chamber for rotatably receiving a spool having first top and bottom surfaces and a side surface and having a supply of floss wound about the side surface, the supply of floss having second top and bottom surfaces. The housing further includes a floss orifice for directing at least a portion of the supply of floss therethrough. The dental flosser also includes an actuator including at least one contact surface configured to frictionally engage at least one of the first top surface, the first bottom surface, the second top surface, or the second bottom surface. The actuator further includes a biasing member for biasing the at least one contact surface relative to the spool.
Devices and methods for oral hygiene
This application relates to oral hygiene and/teeth cleaning devices and associated methods. The devices can be configured to have a shape that allows all or substantially all of a user's teeth to be cleaned at once. In some embodiments, the devices are configured to be useable, for example, without access to water or a bathroom. The devices can be used to freshen up and clean the user's mouth on-the-go. In some embodiments, the devices are disposable.
System for classifying the usage of a handheld consumer device
A system for classifying the usage of a handheld consumer device having a sensor and an analyzer. The sensor determines usage data at successive time instants and provides a temporally successive sequence of usage data during a usage session. The analyzer classifies the usage of the device with respect to at least one set usage classes and assembles a temporally successive sequence of input tuples of usage data relating to a predetermined time period of the usage session, each of the input tuples having at least one element representing the usage data at the respective time instant and for inputting the sequence of input tuples into at least one artificial neural network arranged to output at least one output tuple comprising a number of elements in accordance with the number of usage classes, each element of the output tuple representing a prediction value that the usage of the consumer device at the given time instant relates to a respective usage class.
