Disclosed are a no-glue cosmetic brush and its manufacturing method. The manufacturing method of the no-glue cosmetic brush of the present invention includes the steps of forming a shape of a brush hair by using a plurality of hair members; providing a fusion portion by applying heat to a lower end of the shaped brush hair; processing the brush hair in a desired shape by pressing a hair fixing tube in a region to which the fusion portion is inserted; and coupling the brush hair to the hair fixing tube by pressing the hair fixing tube after inserting the brush hair to the hair fixing tube.

A method and apparatus for producing round brushes having bristles clamped between two wire portions of a folded wire, comprising a feed station and a subsequent finishing station, wherein in the feed station a wire is bent between two counter holders, and the feed station comprises a bristle feed device and a rotatable gripper adapted to grip the bent wire and twist it during the feed of bristles to anchor the bristles in the wire. In the finishing station, the twisted wire is held by a stationary gripper and further twisted by the rotatable gripper. The bristles are then cut on their outer side.

A method and apparatus for producing round brushes having bristles clamped between two wire portions of a folded wire, comprising a feed station and a subsequent finishing station, wherein in the feed station a wire is bent between two counter holders, and the feed station comprises a bristle feed device and a rotatable gripper adapted to grip the bent wire and twist it during the feed of bristles to anchor the bristles in the wire. A toothbrush includes an elongate body having a handle and a head formed with bristle assemblies each including elastic upper and lower boots on either side of an intermediate layer, an elastic collar extends through the intermediate layer from the lower boot to the upper boot, a tuft of bristles bound by a coupling, the tuft of bristles extends from the coupling in the lower boot through the collar and through the upper boot and therebeyond to a brushing extremity, the upper boot provides lateral elastic compliance between the upper boot and the tuft of bristles through the upper boot, the lower boot provides lateral elastic compliance between the lower boot and the coupling in the lower boot, and the intermediate layer pinches the collar against the tuft of bristles through the collar elastically retaining the tuft of bristles through the elastic collar to the elastic collar.

A toothbrush includes an elongate body having a handle and a head formed with bristle assemblies each including elastic upper and lower boots on either side of an intermediate layer, an elastic collar extends through the intermediate layer from the lower boot to the upper boot, a tuft of bristles bound by a coupling, the tuft of bristles extends from the coupling in the lower boot through the collar and through the upper boot and therebeyond to a brushing extremity, the upper boot provides lateral elastic compliance between the upper boot and the tuft of bristles through the upper boot, the lower boot provides lateral elastic compliance between the lower boot and the coupling in the lower boot, and the intermediate layer pinches the collar against the tuft of bristles through the collar elastically retaining the tuft of bristles through the elastic collar to the elastic collar.

A bracket system for attaching a brush to the blades of a rotary lawn mower. The bracket system has a brush attachment, at least one clamp, and a fastening device. The brush attachment has a brush, an elongated vertical slot, and a flange. The at least one clamp is placed around a non-linear lawn mower blade and is secured to the flange by the fastening device. Securing the clamp to the flange by the fastening device secures the brush attachment to the non-linear mower blade. Securing or removing the fastening device allows the attachment or removal of the brush attachment from the clamps, and thus the non-linear mower blade.

A bracket system for attaching a brush to the blades of a rotary lawn mower. The bracket system has a brush attachment, at least one clamp, and a fastening device. The brush attachment has a brush, an elongated vertical slot, and a flange. The at least one clamp is placed around a non-linear lawn mower blade and is secured to the flange by the fastening device. Securing the clamp to the flange by the fastening device secures the brush attachment to the non-linear mower blade. Securing or removing the fastening device allows the attachment or removal of the brush attachment from the clamps, and thus the non-linear mower blade.

Washing devices, systems and methods comprise a brushing apparatus including vertical, elongated stanchions supporting a flexible, wave-like brush carrier. An array of brushes is mounted to the front of the brush carrier. In particular embodiments the brushes include hubs which are received within apertures formed by the brush carrier. The systems may include a single, relatively-wide stanchion, or multiple stanchions. The stanchions are articulated in an up-and-down, optionally orbital, movement. Spray nozzles and lights may be included in the stanchions and/or brush carrier.
