DOUBLE-ENDED ORAL CARE DEVICE WITH INTERCHANGEABLE SNAP-ON FLOSSERS AND DISPOSABLE IMPLEMENTS
A multiple purpose oral care device is provided. The device comprises a two-ended manual tool with ergonomically shaped handle and attachment components located at least at a first end to accommodate semi-circular snap-on flossers. The device also comprises disposable implements for dental and gum care that attach to the snap-on flossers and comprise optional structures. The disposable implements comprise at least one of brushes and gum stimulators and are situated at ends of the snap-on flossers. A first optional structure combines a snap-on flosser and two parallel inter-proximal brushes, one on each end of the flosser. The first optional structure is directed to orthodontic patients with braces and patients with fixed restorations comprising at least one of crowns and bridges. A second optional structure comprises two gum stimulators, one with each attached on opposite sides of the snap-on flosser, pointing inward to each other and parallel to floss.
Tug-toy tooth brush
Embodiments are directed to a tug-toy tooth brush. In one example, the tug-toy tooth brush includes a structural frame that provides support for at least one sliding element. The structural frame includes channels that guide the sliding element while sliding within the structural frame. The sliding element is configured to slide from a first position to a second position within the structural frame. The sliding element includes bristles that extrude through the structural frame. The tug-toy tooth brush also includes at least one handle attached to a distal end of the sliding element, where the handle is configured for travel through the structural frame.
Handle and connector for an illustration unit
An illustration unit is disclosed for use by people who have less than optimal gripping capability. The handle of the illustration unit has a diameter sufficient to allow the user's pinky, ring and middle fingers come near too or in contact with the thenar while. prevent a user's pinky, ring and middle fingers from contacting a user's proximal or distal palmar. Preferably handle is configured to enable said user to contact a surface with said at least one marking element, said surface being approximately parallel to said user's body. Either the handle or connector can be arcuate, having an interior surface and an exterior surface. At least one connector is dimensioned to be received in the receiving area and the second end to receive a marking element.
Oral care implement
An oral care implement including a handle and a head. The oral care implement may be formed entirely out of a resilient or flexible material. The head may include a base structure and a monolithic cleaning unit. The monolithic cleaning unit may include a block portion extending from a front surface of the base structure and a plurality of protuberances extending from a distal end of the block portion. The block portion may have a greater height than the protuberances. The protuberances may include central protuberances that extend from a distal surface of the block portion and peripheral protuberances that surround the block portion and extend from the front surface of the base structure. The monolithic cleaning unit may include ribs extending between adjacently positioned protuberances. The oral care implement may be suitable for babies.
Oral Device For A Baby
An oral device for a baby is disclosed herein. The oral device includes a head portion, the head portion including one of: (i) a plurality of bristles for brushing gums and/or teeth of a baby, or (ii) a plurality of protrusions for stimulating gums and/or emerging teeth of the baby; a stop portion connected to the head portion, the stop portion sized to prevent over-insertion of the oral device into the mouth of the baby; and a handle portion connected to the stop portion, the handle portion configured to be grasped by the baby or another person for holding and/or manipulating the oral device.
HANDLE FOR A PERSONAL-CARE IMPLEMENT AND PERSONAL-CARE IMPLEMENT
A handle for a personal-care implement has a longitudinal extension extending between a distal end and a proximal end opposite to the distal end. The handle has an outer lateral surface with a three-dimensional surface structure, wherein the surface structure comprises at least two continuous wave bands with alternating convex and concave curvatures forming wave crests and wave troughs, respectively, the wave bands extending along the longitudinal extension of the handle.
Oral care implement
An oral care implement includes a head portion. The head portion includes one or more tooth cleaning elements. The oral care implement includes a handle portion that may be coupled to the head portion. The handle portion includes a central body having a proximal portion. The proximal portion may be opposite the head portion. The handle portion may include a first appendage extending laterally outwards from a first side of the central body in a first direction and a second appendage extending laterally outwards from a second side of the central body in a second direction opposite to the first direction. The first and second appendages may be angled towards each other to form an obtuse angle therebetween (e.g., when in an unstressed state). The proximal portion of the central body may protrude from a bottom end of the first and second appendages.
Infant toothbrush
A toothbrush for infants includes an elongate grasping region with a head at one end and a bottom at the other end. The head of the toothbrush includes a plurality of bristles, which may be formed from a soft, resiliently compressible material. The elongate grasping region may have dimensions that enable it to be held by an infant's hand while preventing its insertion and, thus, over-insertion of the toothbrush, into the infant's mouth. Various other features may be included to guide an infant's hand to an appropriate location on the toothbrush, as well as to enable an infant to grip the grasping region, particularly when moisture is present on the surface of the grasping region.
Toothbrush and method for manufacturing toothbrush
A toothbrush capable of inhibiting damage of an oral cavity of a user that includes: a head section that has a bristle implanting surface on a front end side; a handle section that is disposed on a rear end side from the head section and has a handle section main body; and a neck section that is disposed between the bristle implanting surface and the handle section. The toothbrush has a deforming portion that is located on the rear end side from the bristle implanting surface and is deformed, while stress characteristics associated with bending due to an external force acting on the head section are in a plane stress condition.
Children's finger toothbrush with bite protection and tactile feedback
An outer elastomeric layer forms a nonogonal-shaped hollow tube for a finger toothbrush to be used by an adult caregiver to brush a child's teeth. The toothbrush has a first, rigid portion with a rigid inner lining configured to receive a middle phalange of the caregiver's finger and a second, flexible portion configured to receive a distal phalange of the caregiver's finger. The rigid inner lining may further comprise extensions and depressions to spread the pressure from a child's bite. The second, flexible portion may allow for better tactile response when the toothbrush is in the mouth of a child.
