A toothbrush is provided, including an elongated handle and a brush head supported by the handle. The brush head has a base and a plurality of bristles that extend from the base to form a contact surface elevated from the base. The handle includes a thumb press section that include ridges and flat sections. The toothbrush may include a skeletal structure with an overmoulding encasing the skeletal structure. The overmoulding may form the outer surface of portions of the toothbrush, including the thumb press section.

An oral care implement is provided. The oral care implement may include a handle comprising a core and a cover enveloping the core. The cover may be formed from a substantially translucent first rigid material. The core may be formed from a second rigid material and a plurality of elements, the plurality of elements suspended within the second rigid material and visible through the cover. In other embodiments the core may include a foamed material.

A toothbrush including a handle portion, a head portion, a plurality of bristles coupled to the head portion, and a neck portion. The neck portion is curved such that the neck portion is angled in a direction away from an axis the handle portion extends upon and is then angled in a direction towards the axis.

An oral care implement is provided. The oral care implement may include a handle comprising a core and a cover enveloping the core. The cover may be formed from a substantially translucent first rigid material. The core may be formed from a second rigid material and a plurality of elements, the plurality of elements suspended within the second rigid material and visible through the cover. In other embodiments the core may include a foamed material.

An oral care implement is provided. The implement comprises: a handle having a core (118) comprising recycled material and a cover (112) enveloping the core (118); and a head comprising at least one cleaning element, the head (120) being connected to, or connectable to, the handle. Also provided is a method of manufacturing an oral care implement, the method comprising: providing recycled material; and enveloping the recycled material with cover material to form a handle of the oral care implement, the handle having a core comprising the recycled material and a cover comprising the cover material enveloping the core.
