Contour-adjustable toothbrush
A contour-adjustable toothbrush is a device that provides a more thorough brushing experience while eliminating the need to remove the device from the mouth during brushing. A first brushing assembly and a second brushing assembly are slidably engaged into a housing handle that may be grasped by the user. The first brushing assembly and the second brushing assembly each include a flexible brush head with a concave surface. The concave surface of the first brushing assembly is oriented away from the concave surface of the second brushing assembly, enabling the first brushing assembly and the second brushing assembly to clean the upper teeth and lower teeth simultaneously. The first brushing assembly and the second brushing assembly are independently adjustable in order to adjust the length of the device. An electronic variant of the device includes a power supply and at least one actuator.
Toothbrush
A toothbrush configured to provide improved cleaning of the rear surface of the upper and lower central and lateral incisors. The toothbrush includes a handle having a first end and a second end. The handle further includes an upper surface and a lower surface and additionally a middle portion intermediate the first end and second end. Secured to the first end is a first bristle group that is configured to extend downward therefrom. Adjacent to the first bristle group is a divider. The divider include a first surface proximate the first bristle group and a second surface opposite thereto. A second bristle group is secured to the second surface of the divider and extends toward said second end of said handle being perpendicular in orientation to said first bristle group. A recess is formed in the lower surface of the handle above the second bristle group.
Oral hygiene device
An oral hygiene device, intended for discreet use by an individual, including a head portion dimensioned and configured for disposition within a user's mouth and an elongated handle structured to facilitate movement of the head into a compound rotary and reciprocal cleaning action while therein. A plurality of cleansing members secured to the outer surface of the head extend outwardly therefrom in different directions. A transferable hygienic composition may be disposed on the plurality of cleansing members and/or head and is releasable therefrom upon moistening by the user's saliva. The hygienic composition may instead be released by a chewable and/or dissolvable structure disposed on the proximate end. The head may include a curvilinear outer surface configuration cooperatively structured with a predetermined array of the plurality of cleansing members to facilitate concurrent confronting engagement with the teeth and interior of the user's mouth for cleaning and release of the hygienic composition.
TOOTHBRUSH CAPABLE OF SIMULTANEOUSLY BRUSHING ENTIRE SURFACE OF TEETH
The present invention relates to a toothbrush and, more particularly, to a toothbrush produced by providing soft bristles on a side of a solid bar and capable of easily and simultaneously cleaning a total of six surfaces, e.g., upper and lower flat surfaces, upper left and upper right side surfaces, and lower left and lower right side surfaces, of teeth based on a simple user operation of grasping the toothbrush with a hand.
TOOTHBRUSH HEAD AND A CHILD'S TOOTHBRUSH INCORPORATING THE SAME
A head for a toothbrush, a toothbrush incorporating the toothbrush head and a method of fabricating the same is disclosed. The toothbrush head includes a bulbous body that is located at one end of a handle. The body includes first and second ends and a longitudinal axis extending therebetween. The body comprises a first disc and at least a second disc located generally vertically below the first disc. Each disc has a peripheral surface with a plurality of facetted regions formed therein. The facets may include detents and indentations. The peripheral surface may also include a plurality of cylindrical rod-like projections that extend radially outwardly therefrom and are oriented at right angles to the longitudinal axis. The toothbrush is fabricated by injection molding an inner core from a rigid material and then injection molding a resilient layer around that core.
Toothbrush
A toothbrush includes a head with a new design and a handle that operates to move the head. The toothbrush head has multiple types of purpose-designed bristle-bundles precisely mapped to target specifically all dental-gingival surfaces and anatomically niches, including various dead-corner niches/surfaces that are usually not accessible by currently existing toothbrushes. Each cluster of bristle-bundles contains bristles of different sizes, diameters, hardness, lengths, angulations and colors. The head is designed to be inclined to accommodate both lingual and palatal surfaces. This toothbrush head also functions uniquely by coupling over dental arches and rotating so that the brush does not need to be lifted during movement from one end to the other. Further, moving the handle with respect to the brush head causes the width of the brush head to change to accommodate the different widths of the teeth along the dental arch.
Systems and methods for personalized oral irrigation
Described herein are systems and methods for providing personalized oral irrigation. One variation of a system for personalized oral irrigation comprises a fluid reservoir and a customized oral insert in fluid communication with the fluid reservoir. The oral insert comprises an arrangement of fluid openings positioned based on the individual oral or dental structures of a user's teeth to provide a customized fluid flow over the user's teeth. Also described herein are methods for generating an arrangement of fluid openings in a customized oral insert.
TOOTH BRUSH APPARATUS AND METHODS OF USE
A tooth brush apparatus is disclosed including a plurality of brush heads disposed on the top surface, the first side surface, and the second side surface of the top portion to clean every tooth in the human mouth.
Automatic toothbrushes
Automatic toothbrushes are disclosed herein. A toothbrush configured in accordance with embodiments of the present technology can include, for example, a handle and a mouthguard coupled to the handle. The mouthguard can be configured to be positioned within a mouth of a user over multiple teeth of the user. A brush assembly having a plurality of bristles can be removably positioned within the mouthguard for engaging and cleaning the teeth of the user. A motor can be disposed within or coupled to the handle and configured to articulate the brush assembly within the mouthguard.
Tooth brush apparatus and method
A toothbrush apparatus including a handle, and attached first and second U-shaped members, each having first and second sections which are substantially parallel to each other and a third section which is substantially perpendicular to the first and second sections of the respective U-shaped member, which connects the first and second sections of the respective U-shaped member together. The second U-shaped member is attached to the handle, so that the U-shape of the first U-shaped member faces in a substantially opposite direction from the U-shape of the second U-shaped member; and wherein a plurality of toothbrush bristles project from each of the first, second, and third sections of the first and second U-shaped members. One or more channels may be located in the handle, permitting a liquid to flow through at least part of the handle and into an area enclosed by the sections of the respective U-shaped members.
