An object of the present invention is to provide a makeup brush bristle material and a makeup brush bristle material assembly, both made of synthetic resin, as well as a makeup brush using such bristle material or bristle material assembly, all suitable for applying both powder cosmetics and liquid cosmetics, or more specifically, offering good uptake and release properties with respect to powder or liquid cosmetics. As a solution, a makeup brush bristle material is provided that comprises S-twisted or Z-twisted core-sheath complex monofilaments whose core part is constituted by synthetic resin A and sheath part is constituted by synthetic resin B that differs in type from synthetic resin A, characterized in that the cross-section of the core-sheath complex monofilaments in the direction orthogonal to the axis of fiber has a cocoon shape.

A hairbrush includes a bristle carrier including a surface and a plurality of first and second bristles fastened on the surface. The first bristles and the second bristles are arranged in rows and have a plurality of different configurations. In one embodiment, a bent member is formed on a top of each second bristle.

The present invention relates to an applicator device for applying a product of the fluid or pasty type to keratin fibres, comprising a central core (1) having an elongate shape which extends along a longitudinal axis XX, at least one row of elongate spikes (2) comprising a first end (20) embedded in the core and a second, free end (21). A long-bristled brush has a handle, a base, and a set of bristles. The handle is ergonomically designed to facilitate extended usage by individuals with both large and small hands. The base is a rigid connector platform that has a flat portion and a curved portion with the flat portion being used to accommodate larger hands than the curved portion. The base is connected in between the handle and the bristles to enable a user to manipulate the long-bristled brush when performing cleaning operations. Each of the bristles is designed to resist plastic deformation and thus includes a bristle body and a reinforcement insert. The reinforcement insert is a semirigid rod that is integrated into the bristle body so that the bristles return to a substantially straight configuration after being bent. An oral implement and a method of forming an oral care implement. The oral care implement may include a head having a front surface and a plurality of tooth cleaning elements extending from the front surface. In one embodiment, the plurality of tooth cleaning elements may include three different types of tooth cleaning elements, each type of tooth cleaning element being formed of a different material. In one embodiment each of the materials has a different hardness and thus the oral care implement includes three different types of tooth cleaning elements each having a different hardness. In another embodiment, the oral care implement may include bristles and a molded cleaning element that may function as an interdental cleaner. Such a molded cleaning element may include a body and tines extending therefrom.
