Methods of making personalized toothbrush devices
The various embodiments described herein include methods, devices, and systems for creating customized dental care. In one aspect, a method includes obtaining a dental model of a particular user's teeth and determining, based on the dental model of the particular user's teeth, a configuration for a set of cleaning elements to be included with the toothbrush device. The method further includes forming the toothbrush device for the particular user based on the dental model of the particular user's teeth, whereby the toothbrush device includes: (i) a cleaner body, personalized for the particular user based on the dental model of the particular user's teeth, that defines a cleaning cavity shaped for receiving the particular user's teeth, and (ii) the set of cleaning elements, integrally formed with the cleaner body, that contact and clean the particular user's teeth during application of the toothbrush device, whereby the cleaning elements have the determined configuration.

The various embodiments described herein include methods, devices, and systems for customizing dental care. In one aspect, a dental care device is customized for a particular user, including: (1) a support plate having: (a) a first portion configured to be inserted into a mouth; and (b) an attachment mechanism configured to attach the dental care device to a drive assembly; and (2) an elastomer (elastic polymer) portion enclosing the first portion of the plate, the elastomer portion including a plurality of cleaning tips and shaped in accordance with dental details of the particular user.

A head for an oral care implement comprises a number of colored filaments extending from a mounting surface of the head and being grouped together to define an initial color pattern. The colored filaments comprise at least a first and a second type of filament, wherein the types of filaments differ in color changing characteristics over a pre-defined period of time, the pre-defined period of time being the same for the first and the second type of filament so that the initial color pattern changes color characteristics over at least a first pre-defined period of time to a first color pattern, the first color pattern being different form the initial color pattern.
Brush for lice or other parasitic insects
A lice brush includes a body that supports a plurality of bristles. The body also includes a handle. One or more of the plurality of bristles is configured for use in brushing a user's hair for lice. In particular, one or more of the bristles includes recesses, grooves, indentations, notches, pits or similar inwardly-extending spaces configured to facilitate removal of lice as the bristles pass through the hair. Multiple bristles can be provided in a bristle unit and multiple bristle units can be employed in a bristle assembly of the brush.

A head for an oral care implement comprises a mounting surface and at least one tuft extending from the mounting surface. The tuft comprises a first group of filaments and at least a second group of filaments. The first group of filaments is surrounded by the second group of filaments. The filaments of the first group have a first length and the filaments of the second group have a second length, the first length being different from the second length. The difference in length between the first length and the second length is about 1.1 mm to about 1.9 mm.

A head for an oral care implement comprises a mounting surface and at least one tuft extending from the mounting surface. The tuft comprises a first group of filaments and at least a second group of filaments. The first group of filaments is surrounded by the second group of filaments. The filaments of the first group have a first length and the filaments of the second group have a second length, the first length being different from the second length. The difference in length between the first length and the second length is about 1.1 mm to about 1.9 mm.
COSMETIC APPLICATOR WITH REPELLENT SURFACES
Applicators for applying products to a surface are described. Typically, the surfaces are keratinous surfaces and the applicators are capable of holding a charge of cosmetic composition in on some of its surfaces while also capable of repelling that cosmetic composition on other surfaces. With such dual capabilities, the cosmetic applicators are able to provide enhanced functionality to the applicator.
