TABLE SYSTEM WITH MAGNETIC RAILS AND ACCESSORIES
A furniture system includes a piece of furniture with a groove. A magnetically attractive element is placed about the groove. A furniture accessory has a tongue that can fit into the groove. Magnets positioned about the tongue engage with the magnetically attractive element to hold the accessory in place. The magnetic force is sufficient to secure the accessory in its location within the groove while allowing for repositioning or removal of the accessory with relative ease.
ERGONOMIC DESK
A desk includes a base, a pedestal, a desktop panel, a desktop actuator, and a controller. The pedestal extends along a vertical axis and has a bottom end that is attached to the base. The desktop panel is supported by a top end of the pedestal, and extends transversely to the vertical axis. The desktop actuator is attached to the desktop panel and includes a motorized tilt mechanism, which is configured to pivot the desktop panel about a horizontal axis, which is transverse to the vertical axis, and adjust an angle of the desktop panel relative to the vertical axis, and a motorized lateral feed mechanism, which is configured to move the desktop panel along a feed axis that is fixed relative to the desktop panel, and extends transversely to the vertical axis and the horizontal axis. The controller controls the motorized tilt mechanism and the motorized lateral feed mechanism.

KITCHEN FURNITURE ITEM HAVING A VARIABLE WORKTOP OR TABLETOP
The invention relates to a kitchen furniture item having a horizontal worktop or tabletop and a substructure which holds the worktop, wherein the worktop or tabletop is built up in modular fashion from at least two panel parts which are releasably connected to one another along common lateral edges, wherein at least one of the panel parts is a functional panel part which is provided with a treatment. The invention further relates to a method for integrating a functional panel part into a worktop or tabletop of such a kitchen furniture item and to a method for replacing one panel part of a worktop or tabletop of such a kitchen furniture item with another panel part.
Tray attachment assembly
A tray attachment assembly providing a horizontal surface for placement of items thereon. The assembly includes a tray that defines the horizontal surface and a connection mechanism for fixedly clamping the tray to an attachment surface. The tray includes a first planar section extending between a first lateral edge and a second lateral edge that defines the horizontal surface. A second planar section extends from the second lateral edge of the first planar section at a transverse angle from the first planar section for preventing unintended interaction with the connection mechanism. The transition between the first planar section and the second planar section presents a rounded profile.
COMBINATION TABLE AND TRASH RECEPTACLE ASSEMBLY
A combination table and trash receptacle includes a table top mounted on an upper perimeter edge of the container by a plurality of legs. Each leg has a lower end with a channel or notch for receiving the upper edge of the container. The legs are adjustable so as to fit different sized containers. The table can be quickly and easily mounted on the container without the use of fasteners or tools.
Table attachable tray assembly
A table attachable tray assembly for use by a child without a booster seat includes a plate and a pair of brackets. The brackets are coupled to and extend from a rear edge of the plate and are positioned singly proximate to opposing sides of the plate. The brackets are configured to couple to a tabletop so that the plate is positioned parallel to and lower than the tabletop. The plate is configured to position tableware, food, and a beverage so that the tableware, the food, and the beverage are accessible to a child who is seated in a nonaugmented chair that is positioned proximate to the plate.

Dynamic furniture items with interchangeable panels
This application describes a unique design and a method for designing furniture items that incorporate removable panels to either decorate or alter the use of a standard furniture item. The proposed furniture items take the form of standard furniture items but have recessed areas or cavities incorporated into different portions of the structure. These cavities correspond to and fit different panels which display artwork or different utility elements. These panels can be interchanged between different furniture items of the similar design.
