A hinge is rotatably coupled to an upper surface of the housing. The hinge is adapted to support a mobile device and is adjustable to support the mobile device in various orientations. One or more electrical connectors are coupled to the closed end of the housing. The electrical connectors are in electrical communication with the mobile unit. A charging station is coupled to the upper surface of the housing for fast charging a mobile device. A power cord is coupled to the closed end of the housing. The power cord is electronically coupled to the one or more electrical connectors and the charging station.
LIFT STRUCTURE WITH ADJUSTMENT ASSISTANCE OPTIMIZED BASED ON ERGONOMICS AND INSTALLATION METHOD THEREOF
A lift structure with adjustment assistance optimized based on ergonomics includes a top, a base, an X-shaped cross arm and a gas spring, wherein the X-shaped cross arm includes a first directional arm and a second directional arm; wherein one end of the gas spring rotates around a second rotating shaft fixed relative to the first directional arm, and the other end rotates around a third rotating shaft fixed relative to the second directional arm, and the first, second and third rotating axes being parallel with each other; and wherein at the reference height, in a plane where an axis of the gas spring is located and is perpendicular to the respective rotating axes, the axis of the gas spring is tangent to a circumference centered on the first rotating shaft and having a set radius, with a tangent point being located on the second rotating shaft.
User arm support for use in a robotic surgical system
A user system for a robotic surgical system, the user system including a handheld groundless user interface device configured to control the robotic surgical system, and a user console. The user console includes a seat and a first adjustable, ergonomic arm support linkage coupled to the seat, in which the first arm support linkage is movable between a folded storage configuration and at least one unfolded use configuration corresponding to at least one of a user characteristic and a surgical task characteristic. The at least one unfolded use configuration may be pre-stored in a database.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DETECTING AND IDENTIFYING ARCING BASED ON NUMERICAL ANALYSIS
Method and system allowing more accurate detection and identification of unwanted arcing include novel processing of signal voltage representing recovered power-line current. In one implementation, arc-faults are detected based on numerical analysis where individual cycles of line voltage and current are observed and data collected during each cycle is processed to estimate likelihood of presence of arc-event within each individual cycle based on pre-defined number of arc-events occurring within pre-defined number of contiguous cycles. In another implementation, fast transient current spikes detection can be done by: computing difference values between consecutive line-current samples collected over a cycle, average of differences, and peak-to-peak value of line-current; comparing each difference value to average of difference; comparing each difference value to peak-to-peak value; and, based on calculation of composite of two comparisons, using thresholds to determine if arcing is present within processed cycle.
Refrigerator Standing Desk
While standing desks take up their own floor space in a home or housing unit, which can diminish the usability of the space and be costly to work, working-from-home, and daily life, and are a separate item a home resident/worker/student must acquire, the refrigerator installed in or near the kitchen is considered essential to a home, or housing unit and already takes up an expected place on the home's unit's floor space. The space in front of the refrigerator is also already presumed to remain clear, because via the front refrigerator door is the way that food and beverages are stored in and accessed from the refrigerator. Because this is naturally already used space in a home, the resident utilizing that space for a second productive function of dwelling in a home—being able to work or study from home—is an improved use of the space directly in front of the refrigerator. The already-assumed refrigerator location, having an essential and unchanged footprint, also affords a top surface already. The Refrigerator Standing Desk invention is the solution to using the outer surfaces of the appliance where housing residents store food as a highly ergonomic and sustainably functioning desk where the resident can stand for work or study.
By not taking up floor space, the Refrigerator Standing Desk benefits residents, homeowners, tenants, landlords, homebuilders, housing developments, work-from-home employees, work-from-home entrepreneurs, and students. The user also benefits with the proximity and ease of chilled and stored food access.
The invention's frame consists of an alcove for the input human-computer interaction (HCI) devices and the user's arms, which is a deep indentation of empty space providing the area for the adjustable platform on which can rest the computer keyboard, mouse, and user's hands, wrists, and forearms. The alcove shaped area in the Refrigerator Standing Desk affords use of the keyboard and mouse in an ergonomic standing position.
Additional innovation consists of: A platform to secure, support, protect, raise, lower, tilt, shift left and right, and connect the user' s laptop or portable computer. A monitor attachment system, consisting of a groove into which a flat monitor can be secured An addition of cabling space designated within the walls of the known refrigerator appliance, and surfacing through the walls at designated port-connection locations such as the unit top surface and the mid-height alcove surface. The cabling channels are spaces through which data typical connection cables (such as USB) can be fed, connecting keyboard, mouse, and monitor connection with the state-of-the-art technology. The connection cab
Collapsible table
An example collapsible table is described. The collapsible table includes a table top including a top surface and a bottom surface. The collapsible table includes a supporting mechanism coupled to the table top and including a first support assembly and a second support assembly. Each of the first and second support assemblies can be to be disposed in an extended configuration and a collapsed configuration. In the extended configuration, the first and second support assemblies mechanically engage the table top to maintain the table top elevated at an extended height. In the collapsed configuration, the first and second support assemblies collapse to maintain the table top elevated at a collapsed height.
Display positioning apparatus and method
An apparatus for positioning an electronic display can be combined with an existing work surface to provide a multi-position workstation. In some cases, the apparatus includes a mounting portion configured to support an electronic display and a keyboard. The mounting portion may be movable with respect to the work surface between multiple positions, including for example, a sitting position and a standing position.
LOCKING RELEASE MECHANISM FOR AN ARTICULATED SUPPORT ARM
Various embodiments concern locking release mechanisms that allow an articulated support arm to be moved between various vertical orientations. A locking release mechanism may include a handle release mechanism positioned within the handle of the articulated support arm, and a gas spring release mechanism positioned within the body of the articulated support arm. The articulated support arm can include a gas spring that remains locked until the handle release mechanism is activated, e.g. by applying pressure to a grip actuator. Other embodiments concern cable management techniques for articulated support arms. Oftentimes, an articulated support arm will include cables routed through the arm that are configured to support an attachment. For example, the cable(s) may be adapted for audio signals, video signals, power, etc. The cable(s) can be readily cleaned and/or serviced when routed through an articulated support arm composed of one or more removable pieces.
COMPUTER STAND
An improved computer stand is an elevated computer support surface that allows users to comfortably stand, if desired, while taking up much less space than conventional computer desks. Fabricated of a durable wood material with a strong, metal-based support stem, this product would be adjustable to heights ranging from forty-two to sixty-two inches (35″-62″), and would feature a large surface width of thirty inches (30″). The improved computer stand would have two (2) tiers. The top section would be a flat rectangular piece that could easily support a laptop or computer monitor. The second tier, which would be tucked underneath the top space, would be hinge connected and adjustable in height. A footrest, attached at the base of the support stem, would offer a height adjustable place to relax the feet should one choose to sit on a tall stool or chair while working.
