A user system for a robotic surgical system, the user system including a handheld groundless user interface device configured to control the robotic surgical system, and a user console. The user console includes a seat and a first adjustable, ergonomic arm support linkage coupled to the seat, in which the first arm support linkage is movable between a folded storage configuration and at least one unfolded use configuration corresponding to at least one of a user characteristic and a surgical task characteristic. The at least one unfolded use configuration may be pre-stored in a database.

Mobile computer workstation

A mobile computer workstation is disclosed and generally includes a base assembly, a power supply, a column assembly, a tray assembly, a monitor support assembly and a tray controller. The power supply can be housed in the base assembly. The column assembly is linearly extensible and extends upward from the base assembly. The column assembly can carry the tray assembly and monitor support assembly. The workstation can be optionally configured with a variety of storage solutions for any of a number of work environments and tasks. The tray assembly can house a computer that is integrated into the workstation. The tray controller provides a measure of security for the workstation by allowing access to the workstation and control over its features only by authorized users.

User console system for robotic surgery

A user console for controlling a remote surgical robotic instrument may include an adjustable ergonomic seat assembly comprising a seat pan, where the seat assembly is configurable between a seated configuration and an elevated configuration, and where the seat pan has a higher anteverted position in the elevated configuration than in the seated configuration. The user console may further include a display configured to receive real time surgical information, and one or more controls for remotely controlling the robotic instrument. The display and/or the one or more controls may have multiple positions and change position automatically according to a seating profile associated with at least one user.

A plurality of keys are disposed within the keyboard frame such that key tops of each of the plurality of keys follow the ergonomic contour of the keyboard frame. A wrist pad coupled to the keyboard frame has a gabled center portion and a surface contour that corresponds to the ergonomic contour of the keyboard frame defined by its gabled portion, first slope, and second slope. Each location along at least a portion of the surface contour of the wrist pad is elevated to at least a height of corresponding key tops of the plurality of keys.
