The present disclosure provides furniture pads having multiple segments that can coupled and decoupled to accommodate a desired size. The pads include a body of a protective material, with an inner segment and a first outer segment. The inner segment has at least one smaller cross-sectional dimension than the outer segment. Additional outer segments can have progressively increasing cross-sectional dimensions such that the all resulting segments are nested.

A repel assembly and method includes an engagement surface having an adhesive plane for securing to an object, a plurality of attachment spikes extending from the engagement surface at an angle transverse to the adhesive plane and a transport surface for supporting a fixture coupled to the plurality of attachment spikes, the fixture being positioned between the engagement surface and the transport surface. The repel assembly further includes an annular ring having an upper and lower ring coupled to the repel assembly, the lower ring having first and second ends spaced by a wiper body such that the annular ring repels debris from contacting and/or collecting on the transport surface.

A stabilizing device having a first side having a concentric raised wall disposed adjacent to a perimeter. A second side has a concentric recess disposed adjacent to the perimeter. The stabilizing device has a cylindrical boundary wall at the perimeter connecting the first side to the second side. The stabilizing devices are stackable such that when a second stabilizing device is stacked on top of a first stabilizing device, the concentric raised wall disposed on the first side fits snugly into the concentric recess disposed on the second side of the second stabilizing device.

The present disclosure relates to improved furniture pads that provide an opportunity to repair the connection between the pad and a furniture surface, the integrity of the pad, or both. In some instances, this can be accomplished by providing a pad comprising multiple pad bodies, each of which can has a protective surface. The pad bodies can be stacked or removed depending on the relationship between the furniture and the floor. In other instances, multiple adhesive layers are arranged on the top surface of a protective pad body, allowing for an adhesive bond to be refreshed and restored if the pad fails.

The peripheral edge portion has a first density and the floor engaging surface portion has a second density, the first density being greater than the second density. A method of fabricating a furniture glide is provided. The method includes the step of providing a furniture engaging layer having first and second surfaces. A slide is positioned adjacent to the second surface of the furniture engaging layer. The slide is fabricated from a meltable material. The slide is heated so as to cause a portion of the meltable material to melt and flow into the furniture engaging layer. Solidification of the portion of meltable material in the furniture engaging layer bonds the slide to the furniture engaging layer
