System for Detecting Usage and Position of a Height Adjustable Work Surface
A system for detecting usage and position of a height adjustable work surface is disclosed that includes a smart hub device that uses a set of sensors to collect sensor data to determine whether a work area is occupied or unoccupied, and to also collect work area usage data for further analysis regarding the details of usage of the work area.
WORKSPACE SYSTEM AND COMPONENTS AND METHOD FOR THE USE THEREOF
A cart assembly including a frame having a horizontal worksurface, a plurality of vertical support members extending upwardly from the horizontal worksurface and an upper rail spaced above the horizontal worksurface and connected to the vertical support members. The rail defines an opening at one end thereof. A screen is moveable between at least first and second positions. The screen is moveable through the opening and is supported in an interior space of the frame in the first position. The screen is disposed outside the interior space in the second position.
Glued furniture base
The invention is directed to a base for chairs or tables having at least one centrally located column structure. Specifically, the invention is directed to a base composed of several parts, comprising a hub and load-carrying arms radiating therefrom. According to the invention, each arm is separately manufactured and provided with a cavity at least at its proximal end and is individually joined to protrusions on the hub which are inserted into said cavities, and the joint between arms and protrusions is glued.
Workspace system and components and method for the use thereof
A workspace system includes different base components, different accessory interfaces and different accessories. Different accessory interfaces may be fixed to different base components, and different accessories may be releasably engaged by different, or the same accessory interfaces. The same accessories may be engaged by different accessory interfaces. The base components and accessories may be reconfigured to define different workspaces. Methods of assembling and reconfiguring the workspaces are also provided.
LEGGED FURNITURE, AND LEG ADJUSTER AND LEG ADJUSTER SET FOR USE IN SAME
In legged furniture having four or more legs and a load-receiving stage supported directly or indirectly by these legs, this legged furniture includes three main legs defining a triangular shape in a plurality of the legs and, assuming that the legged furniture is placed by using only the main legs, enabling a stable stationary attitude of the load-receiving stage, and a leg adjuster forming an extension portion of a sub leg other than the main legs and capable of expansion/contraction in a vertical direction and providing an expansion/contraction leg in cooperation with the sub leg and autonomously allows expansion or contraction of the expansion/contraction leg on the basis of a length of the main leg in accordance with the stationary attitude of the load-receiving stage.
OVER BED TABLE WITH ENHANCED BASE
A base for an over bed table usable with patient beds having a retractable under-bed wheel(s) (e.g. a 5.sup.th wheel or drive wheels). The base includes a central portion, a pair of inner wings extending from the central portion to support a pair of inner casters, and a pair of outer wings extending from central portion to support a pair of outer casters. At least a segment of the central portion has a profile low enough to pass below a retracted under-bed wheel, while each of the outer wings has a caster segment of sufficient height to accommodate an outer caster and too high to pass below a retracted under-bed wheel. The base is configured so that, when fully inserted under a bed, the low-profile segment of the central portion is aligned with the under-bed wheel and the caster segments of the outer wings are offset beyond the under-bed wheels.
METHODS AND APPARATUS TO ANALYZE DESK HEIGHTS
Methods and apparatus to analyze desk heights are disclosed. A disclosed example apparatus includes a distance sensor to measure a distance from a computing device on a table surface to a floor surface, an orientation sensor to measure an orientation of the distance sensor relative to a direction of gravity, at least one memory, instructions, and processor circuitry to execute the instructions to calculate at least one of a first height of the table surface from the floor surface or a second height of at least a portion of the computing device to the floor surface based on the orientation and the distance.
INTERIOR LAYOUT OF AN AIRCRAFT CABIN AND ASSOCIATED METHOD
An interior layout of an aircraft cabin extends along a longitudinal axis on a floor and comprises a table having at least one leg, at least one base for each leg and at least one flat tabletop. Each base is intended to be fixed to the floor, each leg is mounted on a base, and each flat tabletop is mounted on at least one leg. The table defines at least one main aisle accessible to a passenger of the aircraft. The main aisle extends in the longitudinal axis along a longitudinal edge of the flat tabletop. The interior layout comprises at least one seat arranged opposite the table. The seat has a seating direction oriented transversely to the longitudinal axis.
Adjustment device that controls a tilting angle of a table top
An adjustment device, having a tilting piece at a top front portion of a shell and rotates about a top front edge of the shell; a gear is at one side of the shell and fixedly connected to one side of the tilting piece, and is rotatable synchronously with the tilting piece; a position limiting piece is provided at a rear side of the gear, and is capable of engaging with the gear; a driving piece is provided in an inclined manner inside the shell; the driving piece and the position limiting piece are connected through a driving rod that passes through an inner side wall of the shell and drives the position limiting piece to move; a far end of the driving piece is connected with one end of a control string; another end of the control string is extended out of the shell to be pulled or released.
