Systems, methods and apparatus are provided through which a coffee table has a hidden pop-up compartment that encloses and deploys user computer equipment.
HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT MECHANISM, PLATFORM AND METHOD
A height adjustment mechanism is provided. The height adjustment mechanism includes a lifting arm, a driving mechanism configured to drive and lock the lifting arm, and a control switch configured to control the driving mechanism; the driving mechanism is coupled to the lifting arm, and an angle is formed between the driving mechanism and the lifting arm. A height adjustment platform and method is also provided. The height adjustment platform includes a first working table, a bottom bracket, a lifting arm, a driving mechanism configured to drive and lock the lifting arm, and a control switch configured to control the driving mechanism; two opposite ends of the lifting arms are separately coupled to the first working table and the bottom bracket, the driving mechanism is coupled to the lifting arm, and the angle is formed between the driving mechanism and the lifting arm.
Telescopic column that can be calibrated, piece of furniture having a telescopic column that can be calibrated, and method for calibrating a telescopic column
The invention relates to a column that can be calibrated, in particular for a piece of furniture, wherein the column 100, 101 that can be calibrated has a stationary part 4, at least one movable part 2, 3, and a calibrating means 6, 13, 14, and the movable part 2, 3 can be transferred from a retracted state to a plurality of extended states, and wherein a calibration position of the column 100, 101 coincides with the position of the movable part 2, 3 in an extended state. Such a column can be used in a piece of furniture as an extendable column.
Adjustable Height Desktop Workstation
An adjustable height platform is disclosed. The example adjustable height platform provides a first stage of uprights coupled to a lower platform and a second stage of uprights coupled to a lower platform. The first and second stage are coupled by a bracket with three pivot points. A first lower upright and a first upper upright couple to distinct pivot points on the bracket and a second lower upright and second upper upright couple to a common pivot point on the bracket. A first-to-second stage transfer mechanism transfer rotation force from the first stage of uprights to the second stage of uprights. The upper platform includes a height fixing mechanism release to interface with a height fixing mechanism coupled to the first upper upright to fix the height of the adjustable height platform.
Mobile workstation
A mobile workstation comprises a wheeled base, a height-adjustable post assembly fixedly coupled to the rear end of the wheeled base, and a tray assembly fixedly coupled to the top of the post assembly. The post assembly has a four-post construction, with upper and lower vertical posts pivotally connected to a pair of linking posts. To accommodate different users, the post assembly is designed to articulate between an upper position and a lower position through a primarily vertical travel path. The four-post construction of the post assembly disperses the weight of the tray assembly, thereby reducing the manual force required to implement height adjustment. The planar, primarily vertical, travel path undertaken by the post assembly during height adjustment maintains the workstation center of gravity to a centralized location in the base, thereby minimizing the use of counterbalances to ensure stability. As a result, the workstation is lightweight and easily maneuverable.
Height Adjustable Work Surface
A height adjustable work surface is described that may be utilized as a standalone desk or table, or integrated with a larger work surface to provide selective height adjustability to only a portion of a work surface. The height adjustable work surface preferably utilizes a modular trapezoidal frame structure, including trapezoid tube weldments, corner castings and machined hardened connector pins. The lift mechanism preferably includes parallelogram linkages, pneumatic gas cylinders, sliding brake bar mechanism and brake release handles to provide height adjustment functionality.
Foldable lap table assembly
A foldable lap table assembly for creating storable and adjustable height table surfaces includes a top table and a pair of top legs hinged to the top table and a bottom table with a pair of bottom legs hinged to the bottom table. A storage configuration is defined by the bottom table with the pair of bottom legs in a bottom folded position receiving the top table with the pair of top legs in a top folded position to form a rectangular prism. An alternate box configuration is defined by the pair of top legs in an alternate top extended position engaging a bottom upper face of the bottom table to form a rectangular prism with an open front and an open back.
Frame for use in multifunctional piece of furniture and furniture provided with the frame
The invention relates to a frame (1) for use in a multifunctional piece of furniture (200), wherein the piece of furniture has a first position of use as a cabinet, comprising a series of displaceable shelves (202) arranged one above the other and a fixed shelf (201) arranged above the series, and has a second position of use as a table. The invention also relates to a multifunctional piece of furniture provided with one or more frames mentioned above.
Adjustable desk platform
An adjustable desk platform can include: an upper platform defining a substantially planar work surface; a base located beneath the upper platform, the base defining a bottom surface without legs that is adapted to sit on an existing desk; first and second sets of arms coupling the upper platform to the base, wherein the first and second sets of arms are adapted for movement of the upper platform substantially in parallel with the base between a fully raised position and a fully lowered position; and a user-operable locking mechanism associated with the upper platform, the locking mechanism adapted to releasably lock the upper platform in the fully raised position, and in at least one intermediate position between the fully raised position and the fully lowered position. Other features and embodiments are discussed.
