The invention relates to a device (5) for supporting and for movably guiding a chair (6) in a slotted guide (8, 8.1, 8.2), which is provided in a housing (7) and is designed as an elongated hole guide, having a carriage (10) that can be moved in the slotted guide (8, 8.1, 8.2) and supports a chair receptacle (9) of the chair (6). In order to be able to use this device in a more varied manner, according to the invention, the slotted guide (8, 8.1, 8.2) has at least two slotted guide tracks (13, 14), between which an adjustable rack switch (12) is provided in order to transfer the chair (6) out of the one slotted guide track (13) into the other slotted guide track (14), and vice versa.

A booth that has an opening through which a user enters and exits the booth and a desk and a chair installed in a space surrounded by a floor and a side wall, the booth includes a movable sound insulation member that is installable to enclose the user in a case where the user is below a top portion of the booth while being in the booth.

A desk includes a work surface, a casing, a carriage, a stand, and a plurality of actuators. The actuators are operable to selectively adjust a vertical position of the work surface, the stand between at least a stored position and a deployed position, and a lateral position of the carriage. The casing is mounted to the work surface and defines an interior volume sized for receipt of a display. The carriage is mounted to the stand and is configured for supporting the display. A controller is in operative communication with the actuators and is configured for receiving data corresponding to a desk configuration over a wireless network and activating one or more of the actuators to correspond to the desk configuration.

A workstation assembly that can be opened when needed is disclosed. When closed, the workstation assembly can be aesthetically pleasing and can have a reduced footprint. When opened, the workstation assembly can include a deployable screen system capable of deploying an interior screen from a door section of the workstation assembly. The screen can provide a backdrop for videoconferencing, can provide improved isolation (e.g., sound isolation, visual isolation, shared airflow isolation, and the like) for an individual within the opened workstation assembly. The deployable screen system can also include an exterior screen for providing an aesthetically pleasing exterior and improved isolation while the workstation assembly is in use. The workstation assembly can also include a surround frame with openings and light sources to provide diffuse illumination to the environment surrounding the workstation assembly, which can be especially useful when natural light is unavailable.

Aspects of dynamic workstation apparatus, methods, and systems are disclosed. One aspect disclosed herein is a workstation apparatus that includes a frame including overhead frame elements defining a covered workspace. The apparatus also includes a raiseable and lowerable work surface that may be configured to be movably attached to the overhead frame elements and may be selectively positionable in the covered workspace at a plurality of different vertical heights including a standing height and a floor height. A first actuator may be attached to and operable with the frame to move the raiseable and lowerable work surface between a range of movement including the standing height and the floor height while maintaining an orientation of the raiseable and lowerable work surface relative to the frame such that the raiseable and lowerable work surface may remain relatively level. Aspects of related methods and systems also are disclosed herein.

A conferencing arrangement and method for sharing information within a conference space, the arrangement comprising a common presentation surface positioned within the conference space, the common presentation surface including a presentation surface area, a common presentation surface driver, a system processor linked to the driver, the system processor receiving information content and presenting the information content via the common presentation surface and a user interface device including a device display screen and a device processor, the device processor programmed to provide a dynamic interface via the device display screen that is usable to create an arbitrary number of distinct sharing spaces on the presentation surface area for sharing information content and to automatically modify the interface to include features for controlling content presented in the sharing spaces as the number of distinct sharing spaces is altered.

A work and discussion space includes two installation blocks that are positioned opposite one another. Each installation block accommodates two people and includes a vertical partitioning structure, two seats positioned against the vertical structure and separated by at least one module for storing professional and/or personal accessories, and a work surface each associated with a seat. The worksurfaces are movable between a position that is distant from, and a position that is close to, the corresponding seat.

A table assembly comprising a top member forming a substantially flat top surface circumscribed by an outer edge and at least a first leg support member supporting the top member in a substantially horizontal position, a table dock secured to the top member and forming an elongated channel having a dock length dimension and at least a first display panel circumscribed by a panel edge and having at least one straight edge having a panel length dimension, the dock length dimension less than panel length dimension, wherein at least a portion of the straight edge of the panel is receivable within the dock channel with the panel extending out the open first and second ends of the channel to support the panel in a substantially upright orientation with at least a portion of the display panel extending to a height above the flat top surface.

A workstation includes a frame supporting a work surface upon which a task can be completed and/or an item can be stored. The workstation can include a drive system for adjusting a height of the work surface above a surface supporting the workstation. The workstation can also be configured such that the work surface and other components of the workstation can be moved between an in use mode and a lower profile storage and/or transportation mode.

A novel workstation which incorporates an acoustical dome for increased acoustic and visual privacy for the user. The workstation further is adjustable in height such that it can accommodate a range of users from the 5.sup.th percentile seated female to the 95.sup.th percentile standing male according to the dictates of ANSI/HFES100-2007 national ergonomic standard. The workstation is further designed to be in electrical and data communication with other workstations to optimize the workstation density in an open working environment without compromising user privacy.
