A drawer-integrated step stool for selective extension from a drawer includes a box that is substantially complementary to a recess of a cabinet. The box is configured to slidably couple to the cabinet, such that the box is extensible from the recess. The box has an upper face, which is open. Stairs, positioned in the box, have a bottom that is pivotally coupled to opposing sides of the box proximate to a front. A lift, coupled to and positioned in the box, is operationally coupled to a top of the stairs. An actuator, coupled to the box, is operationally coupled to the lift. The actuator is configured for activation by a foot of a user to compel the box to extend from the recess and to signal the lift to elevate the stairs through the upper face, wherein the stairs are configured for ascension by the user.

A laundry pedestal for supporting a laundry treating appliance includes a cabinet having a top wall, opposing side walls, and a base, and a drawer configured to be moved between a retracted position and an extended position relative to the cabinet. The drawer includes a first compartment having a first cover and a second compartment, adjacent to the first compartment, and having a second cover. A height of the second compartment is greater than a height of the first compartment.

A storage rack post step for use with a storage rack post, the storage rack post comprising a plurality of storage rack post holes, includes a body. The body has a step surface, a support surface configured to abut the storage rack post, a locating boss extending from the support surface and configured to be received by a storage rack post hole, and a bore extending through the support surface and the locating boss. The storage rack post step also includes a fastener configured to extend through the plurality of storage rack post holes and the bore and clampingly secure the storage rack post step to the storage rack post.

A foldable step system includes a cabinet that has a door. A step unit is hingedly coupled to the door. The step unit is positioned in a deployed position when the door is positioned in an open position. Thus, the step unit may support a user thereby facilitating the user to reach an elevated object. The step unit is positioned in a stored position such that the door may be positioned in a closed position. A drive is movably coupled to the step unit such that the drive selectively positions the step unit in the deployed position.

Dresser includes a frame having a wall section forming a rear wall, and an upper panel that covers an accessible space. A bracket is designed for attachment to a vertical support, a first connector is attached to the bracket, a second connector is attached to the frame in a position to be in the space and removably engages with the first connector when present in the space under the upper panel. The first and/or second connector is/are length adjustable relative to its supporting structure, i.e., relative to the bracket in the case of the first connector or relative to the frame in the case of the second connector to enable a distance between the frame and the vertical support to be reduced. A reduction in distance between the frame and the vertical support and engagement between the first and second connectors prevents tipping of the piece of furniture.

Piece of furniture, such as a dresser, includes a frame having a front facing surface and a rear facing surface, rectangular drawers each insertable into and partly removable from the frame and at least one of which includes a vertically oriented front panel, rectangular side panels, a horizontal lower panel and a vertically oriented rear panel, and front, non-adjustable supports and rear, non-adjustable supports for supporting the frame on a horizontal surface. The rear supports have a lower height than the front supports. As such, a distance between a lowermost drawer and a rear of the frame is less than a distance between the lowermost drawer and a front of the frame when the lowermost drawer is fully inserted into the frame.

A cabinet mounted step stool can be collapsed to a narrow horizontal profile for storage without compromising usefulness of the cabinet. The step stool is supported on support channels fastened to two side walls of the cabinet. A pair of fixed track channels are supported on the support channels with the fixed track channel openings facing each other, within which two sliding track channels slide with one on the left and the other on the right. Four step support assemblies, each of which comprises a step support with one end pivotally attached to a roller and the other end pivotally attached to a foot. Two rollers slide within the left and other two rollers slide within the right sliding track channel. Two steps are supported on four corners by the four step support assemblies. When extended, the step stool provides two steps with approximately 13½″ rise in height.

Provided is a stool or stoop device that is easily transitioned between a stowed position within a cabinet and a deployed or in-use position outside of a cabinet. The stool may have a streamlined design and high ease of use so that the stool may be stowed away, set up, and utilized by children, in an example. The stool can accommodate multiple cabinet designs, floor surfaces and under-cabinet structures, such as drain traps and plumbing. The stool may be flat-boxed shipped and easily assembled and installed into a cabinet structure with minimal tools or training. In an embodiment, the stool may comprise at least two legs, wherein each leg includes a concaved or recessed portion, at least one step between and connecting the at least two legs, and a pivotable bracket for facilitating the transition between a stowed and deployed positions. The stool may be mounted to an interior of a cabinet or may include a weighted base that is positionable within the interior of the cabinet. The stool may include a cantilevered design.

The present invention is for a foldable child stand that retracts in and out of a cabinet like a drawer. It has walls that fold up and a support that folds down. The device is intended to hold the weight of a child and contain them at a height to allow interaction with caregivers at the counter. The lop portion of the walls are encased in foam, and the walls lock into place. The bottom support is held in place with magnets and folds down to supplement the stability and load capacity of the drawer slides. The device can be disassembled into a standard drawer once children have outgrown the need for elevation assistance.
