Furniture with interwoven tab and slot joint
A joint for furniture uses alternating tabs and slots formed along an edge of first and second furniture panels. The panels are joined together so that tabs in the first panel are disposed in slots in the second panel and tabs in the second panel are disposed in slots in the first panel. This arrangement causes the slots to flex outwardly and the tabs to flex inwardly once assembled and creates residual stress in the assembled joint which stiffens the joint.
PANELS COMPRISING A MECHANICAL LOCKING DEVICE AND AN ASSOCIATED ASSEMBLED ARTICLE
A set of panels including a first panel and a second panel configured to assume a locked state in which a first main plane of the first panel is arranged at an angle of between 30° and 150° relative to a second main plane of the second panel. A separate tongue arranged in an insertion groove of a groove is configured to cooperate with a tongue groove provided in an edge section of the second panel for locking the first and second panels to each other in a first direction perpendicular to the first main plane, and the edge section is configured to cooperate with the groove for locking the first and second panels to each other in a second direction parallel to the first main plane. A bottom portion of the groove includes an elevated portion arranged at least in an outer section of the groove along the second direction, wherein an area of the elevated portion is at least 3% of an area of a rectangular bounded region extending along boundaries of the bottom portion.
Symmetric tongue and t-cross
A set including a first panel, a second panel and a mechanical locking device for locking the first panel to the second panel, the mechanical locking device includes an insertion groove at the second edge surface, a flexible tongue positioned in the insertion groove and an edge tongue including a tongue groove, the flexible tongue includes a first locking surface and a second locking surface, the first locking surface is configured to cooperate with the tongue groove for locking of the first panel to the second panel in a first direction when the flexible tongue is positioned in the insertion groove in a first orientation, the second locking surface of the flexible tongue is configured to cooperate with the tongue groove for a locking of the first panel to the second panel in a first direction when the flexible tongue is positioned in the insertion groove in a second orientation.
Panels for an assembled product
In a set of panels for an assembled product, a first panel and a second panel may be assembled with a third panel. An end surface of the third panel includes a first tongue and a second tongue. The first panel and the second panel are configured to be arranged with their respective end surfaces facing each other. A first tongue of the third panel is configured to be arranged in an edge groove of the first panel and a second tongue of the third panel is configured to be received in an edge groove of the second panel to join the panels at least in a first direction. The first panel and the second panel may be of a first panel type, and the third panel may be of a second panel type. A corner element may be connected to a side panel of an assembled product.
Automated assembly
A method of assembling a set of panels, to obtain an assembled product, including connecting a first edge of a first panel, with a first main plane, to a first edge of a second panel, with a second main plane, including arranging a third panel with a third main plane perpendicular to the first main plane, arranging a first edge of the third panel at a second edge of the second panel and arranging the third main plane with a second angle in relation to the second main plane; connecting the first edge of the third panel to the second edge of the second panel, by displacing the third panel and/or the second panel; and connecting a second edge of the third panel to a second edge of the first panel and connecting the first edge of the third panel to the second edge of the second panel.
ELEMENTARY FURNITURE MODULE AND STACK OF SUCH FURNITURE
The module comprises at least two front and rear chassis-frames, each with two right and left uprights and two top and bottom crosspieces, two right and left side walls inside the frames and a floor inside the frames bearing against the bottom crosspieces of the frames. The floor is arranged to oppose the movement of the bottom portions of the side walls towards each other. The uprights of the frames are arranged to oppose the movement of the side walls away from each other. The top portions of the side walls and the top crosspieces of the frames are arranged to oppose the movement of the side walls towards each other.
COUPLING STRUCTURE FOR BOARD ASSEMBLY
The present subject matter discloses a board coupling structure with a first board and a second board. The first board and the second board are respectively formed with strip-shaped ribs and strip-shaped grooves that can be interlocked with each other. The first board and the second board can only move relative to each other in the inserting direction. The strip-shaped rib can comprise a longitudinally extending arm and an inclined or a curved arm. In particular, the strip-shaped rib can increase the contact surface of the strip-shaped rib and the strip-shaped groove. Moreover, the connected boards do not need connectors. In addition, the board coupling structure can have a wide range of applications with a particular use in connecting two adjacent boards of a box.
MODULAR OUTDOOR KITCHEN CAPABLE OF TOOL-LESS ASSEMBLY
A modular outdoor kitchen assembly that includes panels that can be assembled without the use of tools or fasteners. The kitchen assembly may include a front panel and back panel that are attached by side panels that span between the front panel and the back panel. A countertop may be coupled to the top edges of the panels. Cutouts may be formed through the countertop and the one or more of the modular panels to create space for the installation of a grill or other appliances within the outdoor kitchen assembly. Vent openings may be defined through the modular panels to allow expulsion of gases and cooling within the interior space of the kitchen assembly.
Assembled product and a method of assembling the assembled product
An assembled product includes at least three elements arranged in three different planes. A first element is connected perpendicular to a second element, and a third element is connected perpendicular to the second element. The assembled product includes one or more locking devices, each comprising a flexible tongue arranged in an insertion groove one of the at least three elements. The flexible tongue cooperates with a tongue groove, at an adjacent one of the at least three elements, for locking the one element and the adjacent element together. A second edge of the second element is connected to a second edge of the third element by a first of said locking devices.
