A piano sheet music holder displays sheet music while being mounted within the piano cabinet. The piano sheet music holder comprises a sheet music holder with at least one footed projection extending from the sheet music holder via an arm, wherein the arm is shaped to fit within the piano cabinet so that the footed projection anchors the sheet music holder onto the front of the piano. The footed projection cantilevers the sheet music holder by pressing upward against the music rack and/or the music shelf of the piano.

A holder is presented for collecting, organizing, and mounting pages of sheet music. The holder includes an elongated sheet made of sturdy and heavy weight paper material divided into a predetermined number of sections by traverse perforation lines. Coupling members are disposed on at least one of the sections such that the pages of sheet music may be mounted over the elongated sheet using the coupling member. The holder may act as a stand for sheet music.

A music lyre includes a saddle assembly having a shape approximately matching an outer profile shape of a top portion of an instrument, the saddle assembly including an opposing pair of lips, wherein a lip of the pair of lips is disposed on each side of the saddle assembly, a pair of straps connected to the saddle assembly, wherein a strap of the pair of straps is disposed on the each side of the saddle assembly, and wherein each strap of the pair of straps is configured to be wrapped underneath a bottom portion of the instrument and connected to a corresponding lip of the pair of lips disposed on an opposite side of the saddle assembly to secure the saddle assembly to the instrument; and a holder assembly connected to the saddle assembly, wherein the holder assembly is configured to retain at least one sheet of copy.

A music rack unit-mounting structure of a grand piano, for removably mounting a music rack unit on a piano body of the grand piano. Rear ends of a left-side engagement portion and a right-side engagement portion are configured to be capable of being placed on front ends of a left-side guide portion and a right-side guide portion from above, respectively, when the music rack unit is mounted on the piano body from the front. By sliding the music rack unit rearward from the placed state, the music rack unit is mounted on the piano body, while the left-side engagement portion and the right-side engagement portion are fitted on or in the left-side guide portion and the right-side guide portion, respectively.

Lyre capable of securing a readable electronic tablet or mobile device to a musical instrument is disclosed. The use of mobile device secured to the smart lyre negates the limited capacity of paper music or information the musician has available during a performance. The smart lyre, holding a tablet or smart phone enables the musician to access and view virtually unlimited amounts of electronic music and information, which can be updated repeatedly thus eliminating excess use of print and paper.

A lyre for retaining musical copy or other leaf-style items is particularly suited for marching band brass instruments. The configuration incorporates the use of a saddle which is selectively positioned on the instrument to permit a user to read the copy in a hands-free scenario. Straps are employed to cinch the saddle into place on the instrument while a lyre extends perpendicularly from the saddle. This particular lyre is designed to accommodate a larger amount of copy.

A reading material carrier and stand is a device that is utilized to store and transport books and other reading materials as well as serve as a stand for convenient reading and writing. The device features a hollow spine and a foldable housing shell with a slide-out accessory panel and a slide-out writing panel. The accessory panel is capable of storing accessories while the writing panel provides a rigid and flat surface on which to write. The device additionally features a snake lamp for illumination during reading and writing that is flexible and may be adjusted to an orientation that is convenient for the user. The device is able to serve as a stand and may be mounted to a desk or similar object via a securing clamp. When folded for convenient transportation, the device may be easily transported through a carrying strap.

A portable media holder is described, comprising a base, a strap configured to attach the base to a user's limb, and a media holder integrated into the top side of the base that is configured to hold at least one sheet of paper at an angle ranging between vertical and 45 off vertical and to flex it in such a way that it stays stiff while in the media holder.
