A padded bench assembly with height adjustable easel and ridged surface provides an elongated frame. The frame supports a canvas at a desired height and slope. The frame also supports an artist, and includes a cushioned seat for the artist to sit on while working on the canvas. The artist bench provides an elongated frame at least 29″ long for an artist to sit. The frame has a cushioned seat for artist comfort while sitting and working on canvas. The bench assembly allows for selective positioning of the canvas, at adjustable angles, through height adjustment of a canvas support bar, and selective setting of the edge of the canvas in one of multiple ridges in a ridged canvas support panel. The artist sit at a desired distance from the canvas, and position the canvas at an angle for working on the canvas, while minimizing slippage by the canvas.

A collapsible desk system is provided. The desk system may include first and second elongate members having a common central pivot and being pivotal relative to one another in a scissor-like manner. A seat may be attached to one of the elongate members. A support member may be cooperable with the elongate members to selectively retain the elongate members in one or more orientations. A desk top may be pivotally attached to a column. The members, seat, column, and desk top may be arranged with one another to transition between at least a collapsed and an expanded position. A knee support may be mounted to one of the elongate members. The desk top may define a side face having a groove extending about at least a portion of a perimeter of the desk top and the groove may be sized to receive a first fastener tab of an accessory.

A stool and desk support system. The system includes a stool base and a desk support surface. A support member may connect the desk support surface to the stool base and support the desk support surface above a floor surface. The stool base may include a stool seat surface and a rocking mechanism opposite the stool seat surface. The desk support surface may be connected to a desk support base by a neck extending from the desk support base. The stool base may include an upper stool base frame and a lower stool base frame. The upper stool base frame may be height adjustable with respect to the lower stool base frame. The desk support base may connect to the upper stool base frame, permitting coinciding height adjustment of the desk support surface and the upper stool base frame.

A stool and desk support system. The system includes a stool base and a desk support surface. A support member may connect the desk support surface to the stool base and support the desk support surface above a floor surface. The stool base may include a stool seat surface and a rocking mechanism opposite the stool seat surface. A portable desk (10) which comprises a main body (12), at least one wheel (18) engagable with the main body (12), and a support element (14) engagable with the main body (12) at a position which is at or adjacent to the or each wheel (12). The desk (10) can be arranged in two different configurations: in the first configuration, the main body (12) is preferably free standing and arranged such that the support element (14) is disposed at a vertically uppermost end of the main body to present a work-surface (16) to a user; whereas in the second configuration, the main body (12) is arrangeable such that the wheels (18) are in contact with the ground to allow the desk to be pushed or pulled by a user. A method of converting such a portable desk into a hand-cart, and a method of converting such a portable desk into a stowable volume are also provided.
