MODULAR SYSTEM FOR A ROOM, FOR A LIVING, WORK OR STORAGE AREA, OR FOR OTHER THREE-DIMENSIONAL SPACES
A modular flooring system comprises a modular floor surface and a plurality of stackable, three-dimensional modular interior design components (MIDCs). The modular door surface can comprise an array of discrete, raised, low-profile, receiving panels that can be rectangular in shape. MIDCs can be securely and interchangeably placed on any group of one or more adjacent unoccupied receiving panel and they east also be stackable, such that various different floor layouts can be created. Bach of the MIDCs may comprise a lower surface recess that fits over a group of one or more adjacent raised receiving panels. A first MIDC may have an raised lip on a top surface such that the lower surface recess of a second MIDC fits over, separately and interchangeably, one (or more) of the raised receiving panels and the raised lip on the top surface of the first MIDC. The MIDCs can comprise a storage cube MIDC (square or rectangular cube) as well as specialized MIDCs, such as a commode MIDC, a sink MIDC, a cooler MIDC, and a tile MIDC, etc. In such a manner, a user of the modular flooring system could locate the MIDCs on the floor surface and/or stack them to configure a preferred layout. Moreover, the MIDCs could be rearranged later to design a new layout.

SLIP-RESISTANT SEAT
A slip-resistant seat includes a seat and anti-slip units. The seat includes a rest portion, legs and butting portions. The legs are disposed below the rest portion. The butting portions are disposed beside the legs, respectively. The anti-slip units are disposed at the legs, respectively. The anti-slip units each include a fitting element, anti-slip portion, adsorption element and force-bearing portion. The adsorption elements are disposed beside the fitting elements, respectively. The fitting elements are higher than the adsorption elements. The anti-slip portions are disposed at the bottoms of the fitting elements. The force-bearing portions are disposed on the top surfaces of the adsorption elements. The fitting elements are fitted to the bottoms of the legs. The butting portions are separated from the force-bearing portions, respectively, by a prepressing distance. When the seat carries a load, the fitting elements are pressed downward, and the prepressing distance shortens.
SLIP-RESISTANT SEAT
A slip-resistant seat includes a seat and anti-slip units. The seat includes a rest portion, legs and butting portions. The legs are disposed below the rest portion. Anti-seismic isolator for isolating of a structure provided with support feet with respect to a ground subject to vibrations induced for example by an earthquake, said isolator comprising an oscillating element that can be associated with at least one of the supporting feet of said structure and a supporting framework provided with a supporting base adapted to support the isolator with respect to the ground, in which said oscillating element and said supporting framework are associated with each other by means of connecting elements sliding in pairs of substantially parallel arched guides, arranged in at least one out of said oscillating element and said supporting framework, whereby said oscillating element and said supporting framework are mutually oscillating and the mutual oscillation of the oscillating element and of the supporting framework causes the simultaneous mutual sliding thereof along two directions perpendicular to each other.

Anti-seismic isolator for isolating of a structure provided with support feet with respect to a ground subject to vibrations induced for example by an earthquake, said isolator comprising an oscillating element that can be associated with at least one of the supporting feet of said structure and a supporting framework provided with a supporting base adapted to support the isolator with respect to the ground, in which said oscillating element and said supporting framework are associated with each other by means of connecting elements sliding in pairs of substantially parallel arched guides, arranged in at least one out of said oscillating element and said supporting framework, whereby said oscillating element and said supporting framework are mutually oscillating and the mutual oscillation of the oscillating element and of the supporting framework causes the simultaneous mutual sliding thereof along two directions perpendicular to each other.

A seating arrangement system for securing the spacing of a predetermined arrangement of seating is provided. The seating arrangement system embodies a plurality of movable tiles forming a supporting surface for securing the predetermined arrangement of movable seats, wherein each tile associated with a vertical member of each seat is selectively pivoted to an opening configuration, exposing a base aperture into which the vertical member is secured. The remaining tiles being selectively maintained in the closed configuration, providing an even surface for traversing about the predetermined arrangement of movable seats.
