A shampoo support apparatus and method for use of the same are disclosed. In one embodiment of the shampoo support apparatus, a body is configurable between a reclining configuration and a booster seat configuration. In the reclining configuration, the body provides a neck support and a back support. A support structure that may be placed above the body and may be adjustable is configured to accept and secure a smart device thereat and support the smart device at a smart device working distance from the neck support. In the booster seat configuration, the body folds into a rectangular shape to provide a seat.

A shampoo support apparatus and method for use of the same are disclosed. A pillow system includes a first pillow including a chin-support portion and first and second arm portions extending generally along a same first direction from opposing sides of the chin-support portion, a movable support being movable relative to the first pillow, and a strap. The strap can connect the movable support to the first pillow to form a pillow assembly. The pillow assembly is configured to support, and limit a movement of, a head of a user in a first position when the pillow assembly is disposed such that a chin of the user rests on the chin-support portion of the first pillow with a neck of the user disposed between the first and second arm portions and the movable support is disposed such that a first portion of the movable support is disposed between the first pillow and a chest of the user to support the first pillow.

A head support system is disclosed herein. In various exemplary embodiments, the head support system includes at least one base, a connector, and a support structure. The head support system is configured to comfortably support a user's head and neck in the upright seated position while under a stationary salon dryer. The head support can be adapted to fit standard salon hooded hair dryers, allowing users to comfortably relax while their hair dries.

A disposable barber-chair headrest protective covering is provided to be used specifically for the headrest of a barber-chair. The disposable barber-chair headrest protective covering will be used to cover the headrest of the barber-chair before each service to prevent the cross-contamination of germs, hair debris, and infectious disease that can be transmitted from the head, scalp, or/and hair. The disposable barber-chair headrest protective covering will also minimize erosion and damage to the barber-chair caused by chemical build-up.

The disposable barber-chair headrest protective covering will be made of material that is disposable, inexpensive, and flexible, with an elastic (or similar) band adhesive or sown in at the edges for flexibility. The elasticity allows the covering to hug the headrest of the barber-chair and be close-fitting. It can be applied by opening the elastic edges of the invention and sliding it onto the barber-chair headrest.

The present invention relates to a novel salon chair buddy device. The device is designed to secure to a salon chair, allowing barbers and stylists to practice on a mannequin head at any desired position and/or angle. The device comprises a pair of open and close release plates that will allow the device to fit on any salon chair. The release plates will open and close via a control knob which allows the release plates to open to a maximum and minimum width. Above the release plates, the device further comprises an axis ball joint which supports a mannequin head. Once secure, the axis ball joint allows the mannequin head to move to any desired position or angle. Further, the back of the device can also comprise a storage tray component used to support styling items.

The apparatus includes a partially or substantially transparent cover for visual access to the client and an internal utility tray for tool storage. The apparatus, also includes, an air filtration port equipped with a replaceable air filter.
