A chair apparatus is disclosed and described herein. An example apparatus includes a base; a seat connected to the base; a back connected to at least one of the seat or the base; and a protrusion formed in a top portion of the back, the protrusion to hang an accessory.

The first and second support members support the cover such that the cover extends over at least a portion of the sitting surface.

A collapsible sheltered bench operable to have a first collapsed configuration and a second erect configuration. The sheltered bench includes a base member comprising a bench surface for sitting. The sheltered bench further includes a canopy member having first and second support members and a cover. In the erect configuration the first and second support members extend from a first side of the sitting surface to a second substantially opposed side of the sitting surface along opposite sides of the longitudinal axis of the sitting surface. The first and second support members support the cover such that the cover extends over at least a portion of the sitting surface.

A remotely controlled powered chair may include a support frame, a seat pivotally mounted on the support frame, an rotary actuator mounted between the support frame and the seat to drive the seat to move relative to the support frame, a backrest pivotally mounted on the seat, and a linear actuator mounted between the seat and the backrest to drive the backrest to move relative to the seat. Thus, the rotary actuator may be controlled by an electrically control device to drive the seat to pivot relative to the support frame reciprocally in a pendulum manner so that the seat is pivoted relative to the support frame automatically. In addition, the linear actuator may be controlled by the electrically control device to adjust the inclined angle of the backrest so as to provide a comfortable sensation to the user. A remotely controlled powered chair may include a base assembly. A chair frame is supported on the base assembly. An actuator mechanism may communicate with the base assembly and the chair frame, and is operable to actuate the chair frame between first and second positions.

A remotely controlled powered chair may include a support frame, a seat pivotally mounted on the support frame, an rotary actuator mounted between the support frame and the seat to drive the seat to move relative to the support frame, a backrest pivotally mounted on the seat, and a linear actuator mounted between the seat and the backrest to drive the backrest to move relative to the seat. A seat connection mechanism having a bracket portion which is metal and includes a pivot area, an opening and a channel. A metal pin portion includes a pin and a stop portion, the pin rests in the pivot area such that the shelf portion inhibits movement of the pin portion along the pin's rotation axis, the pin configured to rotate within the pivot area about a rotation axis. The channel in the bracket portion arranged to pass adjacent and through an area of the center pivot, the channel arranged such that the stop portion of the pin portion are insertable into the channel through the opening at an insertion angle to allow the pin to rest in the pivot area and such that when the pin rotates within the center pivot, the stop portion of the pin portion moves within the bracket and the stop portion is configured to interact with the bracket at one or more predefined positions to stop rotation of the pin portion.

A seat connection mechanism having a bracket portion which is metal and includes a pivot area, an opening and a channel. A metal pin portion includes a pin and a stop portion, the pin rests in the pivot area such that the shelf portion inhibits movement of the pin portion along the pin's rotation axis, the pin configured to rotate within the pivot area about a rotation axis. The channel in the bracket portion arranged to pass adjacent and through an area of the center pivot, the channel arranged such that the stop portion of the pin portion are insertable into the channel through the opening at an insertion angle to allow the pin to rest in the pivot area and such that when the pin rotates within the center pivot, the stop portion of the pin portion moves within the bracket and the stop portion is configured to interact with the bracket at one or more predefined positions to stop rotation of the pin portion.

A seat moving machine comprises a passenger seat assembly disposed in between opposing seat supports which raise and lower the passenger seat assembly. One or more passenger seat beam rotators are operative to rotate the passenger seat assembly to change the pitch independently of the raising and lowering. In embodiments, rather that the seat rows being pivoted up with a rotating floor, a rotate function alters their mutual positions to one another while the lift function is taking place which brings the back seat rows up and over the front seat rows, allowing control over mutual row position during lift and in the show. Though no cables are involved, by combining the motions of lift and rotate and without any further equipment, an immersive theater system comprising the seat moving machine still employs seating that is suspended.
