Adjustable ergonomic pillows
A triangular-shaped lower-body pillow has an upper and a lower triangular fabric panel joined along outer edges, seams joining the upper and lower fabric panels, forming a plurality of separate, fillable compartments, and closures along outer edges of the lower-body pillow, allowing access to the separate, fillable compartments. With the closures open, compartments are filled to a same or different thickness, and the closures are then closed.
MODULAR KNEE BRACE ASSEMBLY
A modular joint brace assembly comprising a brace and a wedge is disclosed. The brace comprises a first panel, a second panel, a third panel, and a first mating unit coupled to a top surface of the brace. The first mating unit comprises a first portion, a second portion, and a third portion. The wedge comprises a first top surface, a second top surface, and a peak, wherein the first top surface adjoins the second top surface to form the peak; and a second mating unit coupled to the first top surface and the second top surface, wherein the second mating unit is adapted to couple with the first portion, the second portion, and the third portion of the first mating unit such that the peak of the wedge aligns with a back portion of a user's joint thereby supporting at least one or more portions of the user's body.
LEG SUPPORT ASSEMBLY
A leg support assembly includes a lower frame including a pair of arms orientated parallel to each other. A pad is attached to the arms. An upper frame has an open end and an open central area. The open end is directed towards the pad. A plane of the upper frame is orientated parallel to a plane of the lower frame. A flexible material is attached to the upper frame and extends across the open central area. The flexible material supports an elevated leg of a person. A plurality of supports is attached to and extends between the upper and lower frames and retains the upper frame vertically above the lower frame. The plurality of supports is hingedly coupled to the lower and upper frames to allow lowering or raising of the upper frame relative to the lower frame.
Ergonomic lateral recumbency support apparatus and system
The present invention provides a lateral recumbency back support designed to support various portions of the body generally comprising a contoured and flexible foam wedge design allowing flexibility at all points along the length of same and having sufficient firmness to provide support for the desired portion of the body.
THERAPEUTIC CUSHION SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Apparatus and methods for providing therapeutic treatment for symptoms associated with GERD and/or other digestive disorders and/or other medical conditions are described herein. In some embodiments, an apparatus includes a support element that has a first end portion and a second end portion and a top surface disposed at an angle relative to a bottom surface of the support element. The second end portion has a height greater than the first end portion. A riser element is configured to be coupled proximate to the second end portion of the support element. A body element is configured to be disposed on at least one of the support element or the riser element. The body element has a first arm and a second arm connected together by an arc portion.
Knee cushion
A knee cushion is disclosed which includes an integral foam member having a first major surface, an oppositely aligned second major surface, at least one side wall joining the first major surface to the second major surface. Leg depressions are formed in both the first and second major surfaces. The leg depressions are arranged in the shape of a modified peace symbol. The leg depressions permit a person to position the knee cushion between their knees while sleeping on their side to assist in aligning their hips and for keeping their spine straight. The integral foam member also includes a circular depression located in a central portion of the modified peace symbol on both the first and second major surfaces. Lastly the integral foam member has an Indentation Force Deflection at 25% of from between about 8 pounds-force to about 18 pounds-force.
MODULAR SUPPORT SYSTEM
A modular knee brace assembly includes a brace and a wedge. The brace comprises a sleeve portion comprising a first opening at a first end of the sleeve portion and a second opening at a second end of the sleeve portion, the first opening and the second opening adapted to enable a first portion of a user's body to pass through the sleeve portion and a second portion of the user's body to remain within the sleeve portion and a first mating unit comprising a plurality of discrete attachment points coupled to an outer surface of the sleeve portion. The wedge comprises a second mating unit, wherein the second mating unit is adapted to couple with a set of the plurality of discrete attachment points to support one or more portions of the user's body.
Multi-component body pillow and methods
A pillow system includes a head pillow having a top end, a bottom end, and a connector disposed at the bottom end. A leg pillow has a top end, a bottom end, and sides extending between the top end and the bottom end. The leg pillow also includes a top connector at the top end, and a side connector at one of the sides. The connector of the head pillow is configured to be coupled to the top connector of the leg pillow. The pillow system also includes a torso pillow having a top end, a bottom end and two sides, and a connector disposed at one of the sides. The connector of the torso pillow is configured to be coupled to the side connector of the leg pillow.
Multi-position adjustable pillow
An multi-position adjustable pillow intended to support a user's head, neck, shoulders, lower back, legs, and/or knees is provided. The pillow may include a cover sized to fit around a plurality of support pieces, including a top support piece and one or more removable bottom support pieces. The cover includes an aperture adapted to allow at least a bottom support piece to be inserted or removed. The aperture may be securable by a zipper or other fastening means. The support pieces may be made of a soft material, such as foam. The bottom support pieces may be made of a material that is of greater density and of lower firmness than the top support piece.
Adjustable leg pillow
An adjustable pillow intended to support a user's knees or legs is provided. The pillow may include a cover sized to fit around a plurality of support pieces, including a front support piece, a back support piece, and one or more middle support pieces. The cover includes an aperture adapted to allow at least a middle support piece to be inserted or removed. The aperture is securable by a zipper or other fastening means. The support pieces may be made of a soft material, such as foam. The middle support pieces may comprise a material that is of greater density and of lower firmness than the front and back support pieces.
