The mattress conversion device includes a base layer, one or more side portions, and a cavity defined by the base layer and the one or more side portions. The mattress conversion device can slidingly received the mattress. A method for recycling an existing mattress is also disclosed.

A liftable bed of a recreational vehicle includes two uprights integral with the recreational vehicle, a base slidably engaged with the two uprights and movable between at least a first lowered position and at least a second raised position, a slat carrier device configured to be constrained to a frame of the base, and a plurality of slats designed to be constrained to the slat carrier device.

The loading/relief apparatus has a first carriage in drive connection with an electric motor and is translationally movable in the longitudinal direction of the support apparatus. The first carriage bears at least one arm whose free end carries the pressure element for load/relief of the spring elements.

Adaptive-support furniture includes several support rungs, a first and second frame members, several pulleys as well as first and second elongate flexible members. The support rungs each have first and second ends. The first frame member at least partially houses the first ends of the support rungs while the second frame member at least partially houses the second ends of the support rungs. The pulleys are provided to the first and second ends of the support rungs and to the first and second frame members. The elongate flexible members are threaded through the pulleys of the frame members and the pulleys of the ends of the support rungs such that motion of the ends of the support rungs is interdependent.

A slatted grate for reclining or seating furniture, includes a frame for receiving at least two zone elements, in which at least one slat is arranged on the zone elements.
