A single-use protective cover for patient transport devices is disclosed. Said protective cover is fitted to the patient transport device and can integrate a Mylar® layer to help maintain a patient's body temperature. Additionally an outer layer can be incorporated into the protective cover to enclose the patient and provide another barrier to contain fluids. Said layer can also incorporate active heating or active cooling pads and seat belt covers to prevent contamination of the patient transport device.

A dual-core mattress with removable and replaceable components of different firmness which can be configured to have different heights and which allows the cover to be removed and washed. The upper portion of the mattress can be removed and replaced.

A mattress protector completely encloses a mattress. The top wall is removable from the side walls by operating a zipper. The zipper includes protective features designed to prevent bed bugs from leaving the interior of the mattress protector via the zipper slide. When the top wall is removed from the side walls, the present invention includes supports for the side walls so that when the top wall is removed, the side walls remain erect so that the top wall can easily be reattached by placing the top wall over the top surface of the mattress and then operating the zipper around the side walls to reattach the top wall. The subject disclosure relates to a bed sheet apparatus comprising a first material of first dimensions sewn into a second material of second dimensions, wherein the first material dimensions are less than the second material dimensions, wherein the first material facilitates moisture retention, and wherein the second material blocks moisture retention.

A mattress protector completely encloses a mattress to preclude bed bugs from escaping. All of the interior surfaces of the protector are coated or laminated with a film laminate that is resistant to bed bug bites. A zipper extends partially around the circumference of the mattress protector so that when the zipper is opened an opening is provided allowing a mattress to be slid into the protector. The zipper is located next to the intersection between side walls and the bottom wall. A closure flap extends perpendicularly to the direction of extension of the zipper. The outer surface of the top wall is provided with a coating that renders the top surface waterproof while also providing anti-microbial properties and unique temperature regulation.

A cushion storage device designed to engage with a secondary, independent structure, such as a cooler, to 1) allow for additional storage of items (independent of what may be stored in the independent structure), and 2) provide seating. When engaged with a cooler, an individual may store items inside of the cushion storage device and use the attached cushion storage device as a seat.
