Furniture base assembled from several parts
The invention is directed to a base for pieces of furniture having at least one supporting column structure. The base comprises a central hub receiving the lower end of a column and a number of arms radiating from the hub. The object of the invention is to provide a furniture base which allows varying its height. This is accomplished by changing the angle between hub and arms, or by shifting the points of attachment of the arms on the hub in the vertical direction.

Lifting and Lowering Chair
A lifting and lowering chair for lifting a user from and lowering a user to a surface includes a base and a seat. The base is configured to position on a surface. Each of a pair of lifts is coupled to a bottom of the seat proximate to a respective opposing side of the seat. Each lift is coupled to a top face of the base. Each of a pair of motors is operationally coupled to a respective lift. The motors are positioned to motivate the lifts to raise the seat to an extended position such that a user is lifted from a position proximate to the surface. The motors also are positioned to motivate the lifts to lower the seat to a retracted position, such that the user is lowered to a position proximate to the surface.
PEDICURE SPA
A pedicure spa may include a basin and a lift mechanism that vertically moves the basin between a raised position in a lowered position while maintaining the basin in a single orientation. The pedicure spa may additionally include a chair, wherein the lift mechanism vertically moves the basin and the chair while maintaining the basin and the chair in a single orientation. The pedicure spa may linearly translate the chair relative to the basin while the basin and the chair are in a raised position. The pedicure spa may sense an obstruction below the basin and automatically interrupt lowering of the basin.
LIFT CHAIR ASSEMBLY
Embodiments of the present invention disclose a lift chair assembly for assisting a user to transition between sitting and standing. The assembly includes a frame body, a backrest member coupled to the frame body, a seat member coupled to the frame body and configured to pivot about an axis relative to the frame body independently from the backrest member such that the seat member pivots between a neutral position and an elevated position, a motor that selectively pivots the seat member, and a controller that selectively engages the motor to pivot the seat member
Device for changing frame angle of foldable article
Provided is a device for changing a frame angle of a foldable article. The device combines frames using a connecting and assembling member and an elastic string and makes up a leg or a support frame of the foldable article. The connecting and assembling member with which a first end of the elastic string is combined and which has multiple combination grooves in such a manner that the frame combined with a second end of the elastic string is selectively combined with the connecting and assembling member. The first end of elastic string is combined with the connecting and assembling member, and the second end of the elastic string is combined with the frame such that the frame can be elastically operated. The frame is combined with the first end of the elastic string and is elastically insertable into or separable from the connecting and assembling member.
