ENCASEMENTS AND METHODS OF MANUFACTURE
An encasement for protecting a household item from bug intrusion includes a fabric cover having an elongated opening with a first end location and a second end location, the fabric cover being of a size for receiving the household item in the interior of the cover, a zipper configured to seal the opening, a first inside securing member attached inside the fabric cover along a first edge of the elongated opening, the first inside securing member comprising hook or loop fasteners, a second inside securing member attached inside the fabric cover along a second edge of the elongated opening, the second inside securing member including hook or loop fasteners, and an inside patch comprising the other of the hook or loop fasteners, the inside patch configured to be attached to the first inside securing member and the second inside securing member when the zipper is closed.
Cleaner for bed
A cleaner for a bed includes a cleaning body provided to be movable forward or backward with respect to a surface of a mattress of the bed to suck foreign matter from the mattress, and thus the mattress may be easily cleaned.
GROUNDED MATTRESS
Systems and methods are provided for grounding a person lying on a mattress. Such grounding may connect a user's body to the earth and enable electrical discharge off the human body. The systems and methods may include a mattress pad having conductive inner and outer layers. The mattress pad may also include an insulating interior layer having a flame-retardant layer, a first foam layer, and a second foam layer. The mattress pad may also include a conductive edge ribbon configured to electrically couple the inner and outer layers, as well as a grounding terminal. A grounding cable may be realized to ground the inner layer, outer layer, and conductive edge ribbon. The grounded mattress then grounds the human body, allowing it to get closer to a natural electrical potential. This can reduce static electricity, static shocks and enhance quality sleep. The mattress will also improve shielding from electromagnetic fields (EMFs).
BODY SUPPORT ARTICLES COMPRISING VISCOELASTIC FOAMS AND PYRETHROIDS AND/OR SUPPORT MEMBERS AND PYRETHROIDS
A body support article, wherein the body support article comprises a top face, a bottom face opposed to the top face, a left side face, a right side face opposed to the left side face, a head side face, and a foot side face opposed to the head side face, the body support article comprising a viscoelastic foam layer; and a pyrethroid, wherein the pyrethroid is disposed in a first zone of the body support article, wherein the first zone consists of a volume of the body support article having an upper first zonal face. Methods of making body support articles comprising a pyrethroid.
Bed bug resistant encasement
A bed bug protective encasement for encasing an item includes: a fabric cover surrounding the item, an opening formed in the fabric cover to receive the item in the fabric cover; and a slide fastening mechanism disposed in the opening to open and close the opening. End stops of zipper tracks of the slide fastening mechanism extend beyond a bottom stop such that when a zipper head of slide fastening mechanism is at an end location in which the encasement is in a closed state, the zipper head has passed over and above the bottom stop from which the zipper head originated in a start location to define an overlapping region of the slide fastening mechanism. In the closed state, the overlapped slide fastening mechanism and attached upper and lower barrier wings together form a bed bug impervious obstruction to the escape of bed bugs from the item.
DISPOSABLE BARBER-CHAIR HEADREST PROTECTIVE COVERING/ DISPOSABLE PROTECTIVE COVERING FOR BARBER-CHAIR HEADREST
A disposable barber-chair headrest protective covering is provided to be used specifically for the headrest of a barber-chair. The disposable barber-chair headrest protective covering will be used to cover the headrest of the barber-chair before each service to prevent the cross-contamination of germs, hair debris, and infectious disease that can be transmitted from the head, scalp, or/and hair. The disposable barber-chair headrest protective covering will also minimize erosion and damage to the barber-chair caused by chemical build-up.
The disposable barber-chair headrest protective covering will be made of material that is disposable, inexpensive, and flexible, with an elastic (or similar) band adhesive or sown in at the edges for flexibility. The elasticity allows the covering to hug the headrest of the barber-chair and be close-fitting. It can be applied by opening the elastic edges of the invention and sliding it onto the barber-chair headrest.
Pillow Cap
A protective pillow cover for protecting a pillow against germs and microbes. A barrier component is constructed with at least two layers configured in a generally cuboid shape defining a cavity. An inner layer employs an anti-microbial component creating a barrier between the user and the pillow. An outer layer is constructed with a material designed for the user's comfort. The layers terminate in a perimeter. A securing component shorter than the perimeter is integrated into the perimeter and is stretchable to allow the barrier component to partially encapsulate the pillow. A middle layer of the barrier component may be used to provide cooling or a pleasing olfactory experience.
Seat usage prevention device
A seat usage prevention device is disclosed. The seat usage prevention deice includes at least one device component being configured to interact with one or more seat components of a first seat. The device component is configured to prevent usage of at least one of a seat pan or seatback of the first seat. The device component further separates a second seat from at least a third seat, wherein the third seat is proximate to at least one of the first seat or the second seat. The seat usage prevention device may include a device component that further includes a cushion, a base, an amenity console, or a vertical separator, or combination thereof.
MATTRESS
A mattress includes a mattress body, a control unit at the mattress body, a plurality of air conduits defined at the mattress body, and a plurality of air passages extending within the mattress body. The plurality of air conduits is in fluid communication with the control unit and the plurality of air passages such that the plurality of air conduits is configured to convey pressurized air from the control unit to the plurality of air passages. The plurality of air passages can each have an air passage end open at a surface of the mattress body such that pressurized air received from the air conduits is output by the air passages at the surface of the mattress body.
CHAIR
A chair for particular use in clinical or hospital environments has a frame to which a support material is secured. The support material may form a chair back and/or a seat for the chair to provide support to the chair occupant. The support material may be made from a textile of interwoven strands wherein some of the interwoven strands include copper containing particles, such as copper iodide or copper oxide within the textile fibers.
