CUSHION FOR SEATING
A hybrid seating cushion made up of a cushion base and a cushion insert. The cushion base has a seating surface in which a void in or extending through the cushion base is formed. A cushion insert such as an air bladder or fluid sack is positioned within the void. A lip or upper surface around an opening in the void overhangs at least a portion of the cushion insert, thereby minimizing the size and corresponding negative effects of a transition area where the base and the insert overlap.
Storage Stool
A storage stool comprises a barrel-shaped wall and an end cap. Side plates and fold lines are longitudinally arranged on the barrel-shaped wall. The end cap is embedded into the top of the barrel-shaped wall. Longitudinal stiffening ribs for supporting the end cap are arranged on the side plates. A cloth cover sleeves the barrel-shaped wall. A supporting ring is mounted at the top of the barrel-shaped wall, while a bottom plate is mounted at the bottom of the barrel-shaped wall.
Adjustable and angled seat assembly
An adjustable and angled seat assembly having a base supportable on a ground surface, a wedge support member with a wedge length separating the front and rear ends thereon and a wedge height separating upper and lower ends thereon, with the lower end directly coupled to a support plate and tapering in the wedge height spanning along the wedge length to define a wedge angle θ defined by the upper and lower ends of the wedge support member. The assembly also includes a seat cushion having a seat-support surface disposed above the base and a seat-support angle relative to the base support plane and a lower surface directly coupled to the upper 704 of the wedge support member and a chest cushion having a chest-support surface disposed above the seat-support surface, coupled to the support plate, and disposed at an at an acute angle with respect to the seat-support surface.
Nursing seat
A cushion and a nursing seat. The cushion comprises: a seat base (4031), and a through hole (4032) provided in a middle of the seat base (4031); a supporting structure (4033) disposed below the through hole (4032), and an accommodating space (4034) being formed between the supporting structure (4033) and the seat base (4031); and a collection box (8) detachably accommodated in the accommodating space (4034). The cushion is provided with the collection box (8) at the bottom, and may be used in the field of nursing. In addition, the collection box (8) and the cushion are detachably connected, thus facilitating handling and cleaning.
LIGHTWEIGHT ADJUSTABLE FOLDING ERGONOMIC SIT/STAND CHAIR WITH OPTIONAL METHODS OF CONSTRUCTION AND INTEGRATION WITH ANCILLARY ACCESSORIES
A novel lightweight, high stability ergonomic chair, enabling sitting, and leaning in a perched intermediary position between sitting and standing. An inclined saddle type seat is supported by three legs. A forward chair leg is located between the feet of, and beneath the center of gravity of the seated person. Two chair legs extend rearward. The chair permits rocking backwards, diagonally forward, and rocking about the forward chair leg. This “active seating” provides for easy transitions between sitting and standing, shifting of weight, and conveys an open positive body language. The chairs may be constructed of various rigid and flexible materials, with optional features including; armrests, footrests, caster wheels, cushioning, and a standing desk type work surface. The chair eliminates the need for connection to a base platform beneath the user's feet.
Support apparatus
The present invention relates to support apparatus for supporting at least a portion of a gluteal region of a user while the user is seated in a seating apparatus comprising a seating surface, a back support surface and a transition region at the intersection of the seating surface and the back support surface. The support apparatus a support member structured to support at least a portion of the gluteal region of the user. The support apparatus further comprises a support element structured to position the support member at the transition region of seating apparatus such that the support member extends between the seating surface and the back support surface of the seating apparatus.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF DETERMINING NUMBER OF POSTURE CHANGES FOR A GROUP AND DETERMINING OPTIMAL OPERATING MODELS FOR INTELLIGENT AUTOMATED CHAIRS
The present disclosure is directed to a method of collecting and using data obtained from an intelligent automated chair to optimize workflow and increase a user or group's health and productivity. Sensors in the intelligent automated chair can include motion, touch, heart rate, weight, presence, sound, keystroke, etc. In addition, posture, health, and productivity data are collected and compared over periods of time along with a learning algorithm to recommend specific operating models to increase a user or group's overall posture, health, and productivity. The methods and systems are configured to recommend action steps based on usage that can include a chair training program, nutritional training program, mental health training, bonus consideration, rewards program, advancement consideration, etc. Furthermore, the metrics and recommendations can assist with addressing issues associated with absenteeism and presenteeism. Lastly, data collected can be used to create forecasting models based on productivity and health cost.
