Various embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to solar/wind protection devices. In one example embodiment, a protection device includes a plurality of longitudinal rods including longitudinally coupled longitudinal sub-rods, a plurality of transverse rods including longitudinally coupled transverse sub-rods, and at least one covering unit stretched between the longitudinal rods. The transverse rods at least partially connect the plurality of longitudinal rods to one another, and at least one transverse rod includes at least one tension adjusting device for adjusting the tension of the at least one covering unit in the transverse direction. The at least one tension adjusting device is arranged between two transverse sub-rods of the plurality of transverse rods.

A portable chair with covering includes a foldable chair and a cover. Particularly, the foldable chair includes a seat portion, a back rest portion, a pair of arm rest portions and four leg portions; and the covering includes a pair of fasteners, a main body and a set of support rods to hold the main body over the foldable chair. The portable chair with covering is useful for situations in which long hours of sitting are required such as soccer practice, outdoor concerts, vaccine lines, indoor hockey rinks, etc.

A foldable playard includes a frame defining an interior space when unfolded and soft goods partially disposed within the interior space to define a partially enclosed space for a child to play and/or sleep. The frame includes multiple oval-shaped leg support assemblies and multiple X-frame assemblies that couple adjacent leg support assemblies together. The X-frame assembly is positioned near the top of the frame when the playard is unfolded such that the X-frame assembly functions as a top rail to mechanically reinforce the playard. In this manner, the playard does not include a separate compliant or rigid top rail or a bottom support structure, thus reducing the number of parts for manufacture. Additionally, the playard includes a single latch mechanism to maintain the playard in the unfolded configuration. The playard may also include an optional canopy cover assembly mounted to the frame to provide shade for the child.

A portable sunshade configured for removable connection to a chair backrest has first, second and third sections removably connected to one another. The first section having a pair of first frame tubes, a pair of first cross tubes, a pair of second cross tubes, and joint connecting the first and second pairs of cross tubes to the frame. The second section is removably mounted to one end of the first section and has a pair of second frame tubes, a first fabric panel supported by the second frame tubes, and a pair of first hinge mechanisms connecting end portions of the second frame tubes to respective first end portions of the first frame tubes of the first section so as to permit the second section to undergo pivotal movement relative to the first section. The third section is removable mounted to another end of the first section opposite the one end thereof and has a pair of third frame tubes, a second fabric panel supported by the third frame tubes, and a pair of second hinge mechanisms connecting end portions of the third frame tubes to respective second end portions of the first frame tubes of the first section so as to permit the third section to undergo pivotal movement relative to the first section.

An apparatus for mounting an attachment to a seat assembly including a seat mounted on a base includes a substantially planar, substantially rigid mounting plate configured to mount between the seat and the base, a first portion of the mounting plate engaging a plurality of threaded fasteners between the seat and the base, a second portion of the mounting plate extending beyond a perimeter of the seat, and an attachment attached to the second portion of the mounting plate such that the attachment does not interfere with a movement of the seat.

A portable sunshade configured for removable connection to a chair backrest has first, second and third sections removably connected to one another. The first section having a pair of first frame tubes, a pair of first cross tubes, a pair of second cross tubes, and joint connecting the first and second pairs of cross tubes to the frame. The second section is removably mounted to one end of the first section and has a pair of second frame tubes, a first fabric panel supported by the second frame tubes, and a pair of first hinge mechanisms connecting end portions of the second frame tubes to respective first end portions of the first frame tubes of the first section so as to permit the second section to undergo pivotal movement relative to the first section. The third section is removable mounted to another end of the first section opposite the one end thereof and has a pair of third frame tubes, a second fabric panel supported by the third frame tubes, and a pair of second hinge mechanisms connecting end portions of the third frame tubes to respective second end portions of the first frame tubes of the first section so as to permit the third section to undergo pivotal movement relative to the first section.

An apparatus for removably receiving a container is disclosed. The apparatus has a structural assembly having a cavity configured to removably receive the container, a renewable power source supported by the structural assembly, an electrical component including a power storage supported by the structural assembly, a thermal assembly disposed at the cavity and configured to heat or cool the container when the container is received in the cavity, and an elongated support member attached to the structural assembly and configured to be inserted into the ground.

A collapsible sheltered bench operable to have a first collapsed configuration and a second erect configuration. The sheltered bench includes a base member comprising a bench surface for sitting. The sheltered bench further includes a canopy member having first and second support members and a cover. In the erect configuration the first and second support members extend from a first side of the sitting surface to a second substantially opposed side of the sitting surface along opposite sides of the longitudinal axis of the sitting surface. The first and second support members support the cover such that the cover extends over at least a portion of the sitting surface.

An adjustable chair frame with a back and seating surfaces that flex to conform to the shape, weight and movement of an occupant is disclosed. The chair form and proportions provide for a recumbent position that disperses the weight of the occupant more evenly, thereby reducing external and internal physiological point loading. The form also provides ergonomic articulation to minimize internal physiological stresses such as neck/back vertebral compression. Eccentric connections driven by a motor assembly allow positioning adjustment of the components of the chair. Additionally, an air pump assembly may be included to automatically adjust one or more air bladders provided on the interior of the chair frame.

A swimming pool accessory assembly including a frame that carries a personal support device such as a stool, and one or more accessories such as a table, a counter, a bar, and/or an umbrella. An arm is connected to the frame and engageable in a socket, such as a pool ladder receiving socket, in a pool deck, such that the first arm, frame, personal support device, and accessory are at least partially supported by engagement of the arm in the socket and the personal support is positioned to support an occupant partially-submerged in the swimming pool.
