The belt [120] is configured for securing about the waste and/or hips of the transporting individual [140]; the seat [110] is coupled to the belt [120], is configured for at least partially supporting the child [105] if the child [105] is seated in the carrier [100], and has a surface [130] configured for at least partially supporting at least part of the posterior of the child [105]; the torso support [115] is coupled to the seat [110] by one or more couplers [125] and is configured for supporting at least part of the torso of the child [105]; and the one or more couplers [125] are configured to enable adjustment of a distance [220] between one or more coupling locations [210] for each of the one or more couplers

and a selected reference point [200].

The present invention relates to a method of using the structure of an existing bag (or baby carrier) and attaching another bag (or baby carrier or other items) by means of an attachment point between the existing bag thus allowing another bag (or multiple bags) to be used without its strap or to be joined together as one bag. This allows multiple bags and items of various kinds to be attached to one another for any reason utilizing a peculiar clip and webbing system comprising an S-shaped clip which holds onto webbing, rests upon the webbing and accepts webbing, while also securing it, in order to support another item.

Foldable seat for a child to be fastened onto a chair, an umbrella stroller or a rolling suitcase, comprising:

a first part intended to be in contact with the back of the child, a second part intended to form the seat of the seat and a third part intended to be in contact with the feet of the child,
the first part comprises a ring fastener near a first edge and a fastener on an edge opposite to the first edge of the second part also via rings, the second part comprising a fastener on an edge opposite to the first edge at a first edge of the third part, a fastening strap provided with fastening elements at its ends making the opposite rings joined,
the seat being able to go from an unfolded position to a folded position, by folding the third part into contact with the second part, and the assembly formed by the second part and the third part then being folded into contact with the first part, this assembly cooperates at the fastening rings, with the fastening strap via the fastening elements,
the seat also being provided with other fastening straps, the modularity of the fastening straps allowing the seat to acquire a function of child carrier if necessary, the assembly of the fastening straps allowing to form at least three fastening points on the chair, the umbrella stroller or the rolling suitcase,
the seat also being provided with a harness allowing to maintain the child in the seat, and lateral safety straps.

A child carrying system for carrying a child includes a carrier portion having a top portion; a middle portion having a pair of tabs extending away from a center of the middle portion in a lateral direction; a pair of adjustment mechanisms, each adjustment mechanism fixedly attached to a respective tab of the pair of tabs; and a bottom portion. The child carrying system also includes a pair of straps, each strap having a first end and a second end. Each first end is fixedly attached proximate a respective top corner of the top portion. Each second end is detachably connected to an adjustment mechanism of the pair of adjustment mechanisms. A width of each strap of the pair of straps is wider than a conventional shoulder strap on a backpack.

Adjustable child carriers are disclosed. A disclosed example child carrier includes a child support pouch to receive a child in a substantially upright position, where the child support pouch includes an upper pouch area, a medial pouch area and a lower pouch area. The example child carrier also includes a harness to support the child support pouch on an adult, where the harness includes a first upper strap coupled to the upper pouch area, a second upper strap coupled to the upper pouch area, and a lower strap coupled to the medial pouch area. The example child carrier also includes a first leg support coupled to the child support pouch at the lower pouch area, where the first leg support pouch has a first continuously adjustable operative surface area, and a second leg support coupled to the child support pouch at the lower pouch area, where the second leg support pouch having a second continuously adjustable surface area.

A backpack providing enhanced storage and a carrier for holding a child is disclosed. The backpack includes a back plate having a receptacle for storing items. Further, the back plate includes connecting straps drawing through strap openings. The back plate includes shoulder straps. The backpack includes a face plate having a receptacle for storing items. The face plate connects to the back plate. The backpack further includes a front plate having front plate strap connectors and top straps. A user puts on the first shoulder straps over his shoulder to use the back plate as a backpack. Further, the user connects the front plate strap connectors to the connecting straps, and the top straps to the first shoulder straps creating a child receiving portion. The user places a child in the child receiving portion between his body and the front plate for use as a carrier for holding a child.

An infant carrier includes an infant support portion, a carrying handle and a locking mechanism. The carrying handle includes a handle part and a side segment, the side segment being pivotally connected with the infant support portion, and the handle part being slidably connected with the handle part, the handle part and the side segment being rotatable in unison relative to the infant support portion for adjusting an inclination of the carrying handle, and the handle part being slidable relative to the side segment for adjusting an extension of the handle part from the side segment. The locking mechanism is carried with the handle part and is operable to lock the handle part to the side segment so that the handle part is held at a desired extension from the side segment.

The present invention relates to a baby carrier consisting of shoulder straps, a main panel, and side panels with adjustable height. The lower aspect of the main panel consists of a seat component with a belt around the waist to secure the baby in place. The purpose of the adjustable positioning system is to change the angle of the seat component in order to accommodate for the increase downward movement of the solid seat component caused by heavy weight.

A novel and improved device to assuage distressed infants by means of adjustable vertical motion combined with adjustable orientation. The motion is adjustable in terms of amplitude, frequency and time. The device allows the infants to be held face-inward or face-outward in the case of vertical orientation and prone or supine in the case of horizontal orientation.
