Full body side sleep pillow and methods
A pillow system includes a body pillow, a torso pillow, and a slipcover that is positionable over the body pillow and torso pillow. The slipcover includes an upper portion, a lower portion, a central portion positioned between the upper portion and the lower portion, a pocket, and an elongate material band that operably connects the pocket with the central portion of the slipcover. The slipcover is designed to enclose the body pillow and the pocket is designed to enclose the torso pillow. The pocket is extendable from the slipcover to position the torso pillow distally of the body pillow and thereby enable a user to lay atop the material band with the torso pillow and body pillow positioned on opposite sides of the user's body.
Support assembly for infant
An infant support pad assembly has a body of resilient material, a generally planar bottom surface and a top surface that is inclined relative to the bottom surface between a proximal end and a distal end of the body such that the infant is in an inclined position when placed on the body. The top surface has an opening in a distal portion of the body and curved surface configured to receive and support at least a portion of an infant's head. The support pad assembly also has a pair of raised side members on either side of the top surface configured to generally maintain the infant on the body and inhibit movement of the infant out of the body. The support pad assembly also has an outer padding to at least partially surround the body to generally maintain the infant on the body.
FUNCTIONAL OUTER COVER FOR FEEDING CUSHION AND FUNCTIONAL FEEDING CUSHION USING SAME
A functional feeding cushion including: a cushion body formed of an inner cover and a cushion material charged inside the inner cover; a hip receiving portion sunken from a front surface of the cushion body; an upper body receiving portion sunken from the front surface of the cushion body; an outer cover covering the front surface of the cushion body and having a cover body; a fixation band vertically disposed at a center of a front surface of the cover body; and a strap horizontally passing under the fixation band and configured to cover and wrap a body portion of the infant. The upper body receiving portion has a predetermined depth decreasing gradually towards an upper end of the upper body receiving portion, and a predetermined width decreasing gradually towards the upper end of the upper body receiving portion while forming a left-right symmetrical trapezoidal shape.
Maternity and Feeding Support Pillow
The invention, as described herein, is a combination maternity and feeding support pillow, which will relieve muscle stress and ligament strain on the expectant and/or nursing mother. Pregnancy places a great amount of strain on a woman's body; therefore, the support pillow is designed to mold into a variety of positions, making it particularly useful where the range of motion of the user is limited.
Additionally, the moldable design will make the support pillow particularly useful for nursing and bottle feeding, as range of motion remains limited even after childbirth. This is especially applicable in the event of a cesarean section. The pillow can easily be adjusted with one hand and its flexible design supports all nursing positions, including tandem feeding.
Nursing sling pillow
A sling which incorporates a cushion for supporting an infant during feeding.
Chair for supporting a person who is feeding a baby
The present invention relates to a chair for supporting a person feeding a baby. The chair includes a seat. The chair includes an armrest operatively connected to the seat. The armrest is selectively rotatable about a vertical axis, and moveable forward/rearward, laterally inward/outward and vertically relative to the seat. The armrest is shaped to receive a baby thereon.
Privacy Nursing Pillow
A nursing pillow that provides support and privacy to a mother and her infant while nursing in a seated position. The case of the pillow has three collapsible panels sewn-in around its perimeter—one of which runs lengthwise while the other two extend perpendicularly from its ends on either side in a widthwise manner. These panels can be raised and secured with a fastening mechanism in order to create a three-sided barrier around the perimeter of the pillow providing the mother and infant privacy when used during nursing. The inner support structures of the panels providing rigidity can be removed from the fabric panels of the pillow case in order for the case to be washed. The pillow case can fit any standard-sized pillow and, when removed from the pillow, can be folded in on itself to minimize its footprint for easy portability.
NURSING PILLOW
A nursing pillow has three cushionable inserts of at least two different firmnesses. The user may install or remove any of the inserts through an opening in the outer shell of the pillow. A thermal therapy pocket is joined to an inner panel of the outer shell of the pillow, and is oriented vertically so as to face the torso of the mother.
Devices and methods for supporting and containing premature babies and small-for-age infants
Infant support devices and containment devices are described for use with premature and small-for-age infants, and in particular premature babies two kilograms or less, and even babies of one kilograms or less. The devices can be used separately or in combination (whereupon both support and containment are achieved together).
Multi-function infant support apparatus and method of using the same
A multipurpose support apparatus for an infant is disclosed that includes a rigid planar member having a head end, an intermediate portion and a foot end. The head end and foot end each have a rounded outer edge and the intermediate portion includes right and left sides that have curved concave edges. The edges define the outer periphery of the rigid planar member. A mat following the contour of the rigid planar member is adapted to receive the rigid planar member to be removable from the rigid planar member. A removable cover encloses a flexible container that in turn encloses bean-shaped pellets, or compressible foam filler material. The support apparatus may be used for “Tummy Time” exercises, as an infant lounger, or a breast-feeding support.
