A multipurpose infant positioning device that includes a lower pad with front and back surfaces, wings attached to lateral sides of the lower pad and a bottom flap attached to the bottom portion of the lower pad. At least one of the wings and bottom flap have fastening segments attached thereto for adjustably attaching these components to portions of the lower pad. The fastened wing and bottom flap are made of a material having sufficient resiliency to maintain and bring an infant back to flexed midline position within the infant positioning device. These infant positioning devices may further include a headpiece, brim, pocket at the back surface of the lower pad and a detachable readjustable multipurpose pillow for positioning the infant from and between supine, prone and side-lying positions, all while maintaining and reinforcing the flexed midline position of the infant for normal development.

A sleeping device including an inclined mat or an inclination segment under a mat positionable under a baby for sleep. The inclined mat or the inclination segment includes a top surface area, a bottom surface area, and a thickness area lying therebetween. The bottom surface area is configured to lie against a sleeping surface and the top surface area is configured to lie against a baby. The top surface area of the inclined mat or the inclination segment includes an elevated surface, a downwardly surface, and a lower surface configured to receive a back of the head of the baby. The downwardly surface is configured to support a side of the head of the baby lying toward the downwardly surface to prevent the head from turning to a position wherein the side of the head lies planar with the sleeping surface.

A hinge mechanism and mattress for use with a child containment device. A first mattress panel is pivotally coupled to a second mattress panel by a hinge mechanism, and is thereby convertible between an expanded configuration and a collapsed configuration. The hinge mechanism defines a limit point beyond which pivotal motion is prevented in at least one direction.

An embodiment of the invention provides a safety cushion mat that includes an inner filler made of a synthetic resin expanded foam member, and a first sheet and a second sheet which cover an upper and a lower surface of the inner filler, respectively. The inner filler may have air outlets formed in its upper and lower surfaces in a particular pattern. The first sheet may include a first sheet body portion and a first edge portion, and the second sheet may include a second sheet body portion and a second edge portion. The second edge portion may be fused with the first edge portion of the first sheet. When the first sheet and the second sheet are fused onto both sides of the inner filler, any air remaining between the first and second sheets and the inner filler may be discharged through the air outlets of the inner filler.

An infant wrap and carrier for securing an infant during transport. The infant wrap and carrier has a base with a perimeter section extending around an interior portion and a flap connected to the interior portion. The flap may be configured to translate between an open position and a closed position.

A child containment device and a mattress support assembly for a child containment device providing a generally flat mattress configuration under load of a child supported thereon; a multi-paneled mattress for a child containment device allowing repositioning of mattress panels between an expanded state and a compact state, and wherein in the expanded state, structural couplings maintain the mattress in a generally flat configuration; and a chamfered corner arrangement for resisting curling of a mattress for a child containment device.

A playmat system includes a series of isosceles right triangle tiles and edge tiles. Advantageously, the triangle shaped tiles and edge tiles have one or of two color or patterns or more. The present invention relates to a baby changing system with a protective wall to be used while changing a baby's diaper. The baby changing system consists of a baby changing mat and at least one protective wall. The protective wall is designed to restrict the baby from touching surfaces external to the baby changing system during use.
