A bassinet accessory for a foldable playard, wherein the bassinet and playard are folded and unfolded together. When unfolded, the bassinet is relatively shallow from a top of the playard so that a caregiver may more easily place a child into, and remove the child from, the bassinet. A bassinet mattress is supported by a central hub on the bottom of the bassinet and four support tubes coupled to the hub and extending to respective bottom corners of the bassinet. During folding, the bassinet hub travels in a vertical direction and the support tubes rotate from a horizontal to a vertical position, becoming parallel with respective legs of the playard. Thus, in the compact folded configuration, the bassinet hub is surrounded by and within the folded frame of the playard or flush with the top of the playard (so as not to appreciably extend beyond a top of the playard).

An infant seat includes a seat back member including an outer hub, a seat support member including an inner hub, a seat structure connected to the seat back member, and a locking mechanism including a slide gear and operably disposed on the seat back member. The inner hub is pivotably connected to the outer hub to make the seat back member rotatably connected to the seat support member for forming a cross bar structure. The slide gear is slidable within the outer and inner hubs for engaging with the outer and inner hubs to stop rotation of the inner hub on the outer hub. When the locking mechanism translates the slide gear to an unlocked position, the slide gear is disengaged from the outer hub to make the seat back member rotatable relative to the seat support member for adjusting a tilt angle of the seat structure.

A foldable carry cot for carrying an infant, the foldable carry cot comprising: a base member; a foldable sidewall flexibly coupled to the base member, the foldable sidewall being configured to move between a functional configuration that provides a sidewall to the foldable carry cot such that the foldable carry cot is suitable carrying an infant, and a folded configuration wherein the foldable sidewall is configured to fold inwardly.

A bassinet frame includes a support frame, two leg units, and two pivot hubs each connecting a respective one of the leg units to the support frame. Each of the leg units is pivotable relative to the support frame between a folded position, wherein a foot portion of the leg unit is proximal to the support frame, and an unfolded position, wherein the foot portion is distal from the support frame. When each of the leg units is at the unfolded position, a locking pin of the respective pivot hub is movable between a stopping position, wherein the locking pin prevents a respective one of the leg units from moving toward the folded position, and a releasing position, wherein movement of the respective leg unit toward the folded position is permitted.

An apparatus for supporting a resting or sleeping occupant may include a compressible structure configured to allow airflow through the compressible structure, and a cover removably coupled to the compressible structure and overlaying at least a portion of the compressible structure. The cover may include a foldover portion. The foldover portion may include a zipper along an edge of the foldover portion, and may be secured about a portion of the compressible structure. A method of assembling the apparatus may include inserting the cover through a compressible structure, and wrapping the foldover portion around an outer rim of the compressible structure. The method may further include manipulating the zipper along the foldover portion to secure the foldover portion about the compressible structure.

A foldable child carrier (200) includes a lateral support (204), an upper frame (202), a lower plate (203) and a folding mechanism (100). The lateral support (204) is connected to and located between a lower plate (203) and an upper frame (202). The lateral support (204) includes a first supporting component (2041) and a second supporting component (2042) movably connected to the first supporting component (2041). The lateral support (204) is folded or unfolded by a relative movement of the first supporting component (2041) and the second supporting component (2042). The folding mechanism (100) includes a driven component (10), a locking component (30) and an operating component (20). The operating component (20) is linked to the driven component (10) and can drive the driven component (10) to engage with the locking component (30) for allowing the relative movement of the first supporting component (2041) and the second supporting component (2042) or to disengage from the locking component (30) for restraining the relative movement of the first supporting component (2041) and the second supporting component (2042).

A foldable, portable co-sleeper bassinet or apparatus is described. The bassinet, in some embodiments, is transformable into two different configurations, by collapsing or extending the walls of the apparatus. For example, the co-sleeper apparatus may include collapsible wall panels that, when collapsed, enable an easy, lying-down open position, but which can extend back up to a walled position to secure a baby in the bassinet.

A foldable, portable co-sleeper bassinet or apparatus is described. The bassinet, in some embodiments, is transformable into two different configurations, by collapsing or extending the walls of the apparatus. For example, the co-sleeper apparatus may include collapsible wall panels that, when collapsed, enable an easy, lying-down open position, but which can extend back up to a walled position to secure a baby in the bassinet.

A child bassinet includes a support frame supporting an enclosure, the support frame and the enclosure delimiting at least partially an interior space for receiving a child, and a playpen coupling mechanism provided on the support frame. The playpen coupling mechanism includes an adjustable catching part connected with the support frame, the catching part being movable relative to the support frame between a first position and a second position of different elevations, the catching part in the first position being engageable with a playpen for installing the child bassinet on the playpen at a first height above a bottom of the playpen, and the catching part in the second position being engageable with the playpen for installing the child bassinet on the playpen at a second height above the bottom of the playpen that is different from the first height.
