Magnetic mounting system and method
The disclosure includes in one aspect a mounting sticker comprising a non-adhesive front side defined by a planar sticker body and a rear side defined by the planar sticker body and including a planar magnetically receptive member disposed thereon with the magnetically receptive member completely peripherally surrounded by a portion of the sticker body, at least a portion of the sticker body defining the rear side comprising an adhesive. The sticker body can define a teardrop shape having a circular head portion with a peeling tip extending from the head portion and terminating at a point defined by an acute angle.
Hanging and storage system
A hanging system for displaying, storing, and protecting handbags. The hanging system comprises a curved holder, a mounting system, and protective cover. The system ensures handbags are protected and maintain their original integrity by providing for adequate aeration, proper positioning, and protection from dust and light. The channels on the holder may hold the handles of the cover in place. The holder may have aeration holes to prevent mold growth and moisture buildup on the stored handbag. In mounting the holder a spacer ensures the bags hang without interference from the environment. The hanging system may be mounted to various substrates in a variety of configurations compatible with horizontal and vertical orientation based on user preference.
Hanger
A hanger, support and other component or system capable of supporting one or more objects is contemplated. The hanger may be configured to provide four-way adjustability sufficient to facilitate adjustably supporting objects after being affixed to a supporting surface and/or to facilitate adjustably supporting objects having a wire or other support member hidden from view or otherwise difficult to orientate relative to a support surface. The hanger may be configured to enable four-way re-positioning in an up, down, left or right direction, optionally while the one or more objects are supported thereon, without requiring removal or manipulation of fasteners anchoring it to a support.
Rearview actuation mechanism and rearview device using same
An actuator mechanism for a rearview device includes a cam surface which is positioned on or is part of a rearview element or rearview element mount of the rearview device, a cam lever configured to move on the cam surface, an actuator configured to rotate the cam lever, where rotating the cam lever in one direction causes the rearview element or rearview element mount to move in one manner, and rotating the cam lever in an opposite direction causes the rearview element or rearview element mount to a move in a different manner. A rearview device and a motor vehicle may include the actuator mechanism.
Tuned mass damper in an exterior rearview device
A motor vehicle includes mating features in a sheet metal of the motor vehicle, an exterior rearview device assembly fixedly secured to the motor vehicle, where the exterior rearview device assembly includes a structural base frame that mates to the mating features of the sheet metal at a mounting plane, and a tuned mass damper secured to the structural base frame adjacent to the mounting plane. In an example, a primary axis of movement of the tuned mass damper is at least one of substantially parallel with or substantially perpendicular to the mounting plane. In another example, the tuned mass damper is configured to dampen resonant vibrations being generated by the motor vehicle.
Purse storage hook with protective cover
A purse storage hook (1) having a C-shaped body (2) that is placed over an edge of a table or counter. A bottom support strap (6) extends from a bottom horizontal arm (4) of the purse storage hook and may be wrapped around one or more purse handles (16) to act as a sling that supports the purse handles and distributes pressure along a predetermined length of the purse handles. A protective cover (22) protects a purse from spills while hanging from the purse storage hook or while being carried.
Wall fastener
A wall fastener for fastening an object to a wall includes a fastening body, a hanging member and an attaching pin. The fastening body has a utility surface and an attachment surface. The hanging member extends from the utility surface of the fastening body for allowing the object to be hung on the hanging member. The attaching pin extends from the attachment surface of the fastening body. The attaching pin is arranged to detachably penetrate into the wall for detachably attaching the object on the wall.
Picture stand system
A picture stand system for coupling a stand to a picture frame includes a picture frame. A stand is provided and the stand is selectively coupled to said picture frame. Moreover, the stand is configured to props the picture frame up on a support surface thereby facilitating the picture frame to be displayed. An adhesive layer is coupled to said stand. The adhesive layer adhesively engages the picture frame to retain the stand on the picture frame.
Panel support and/or panel mounting means
Disclosed is a panel support including a block and a slide. The block has an aperture therein into which the slide can be inserted and the slide has a flange at or adjacent its distal end. A locking unit is provided actuable to substantially lock the slide in a desired position relative to the block so as to clamp a planar member between the slide and the block. Also described is a mounting system utilizing a plurality of panel supports carrying a planar member.
