The invention relates to devices and methods for making purchases in supermarkets and other large commercial centres at checkouts and is aimed at simplifying and speeding up checkout operations, as well as at reducing the number of actions taken by a purchaser. A method for controlling the operation of a checkout equipped with a conveyor belt comprises the following steps, at which: —sections on the conveyor belt arranged between items of the purchasers next in line are designated manually or determined automatically; —virtual dividers are set on said sections by entering relevant coordinates in the control unit memory; —the location coordinates of the virtual separators are changed by the control unit in such a way that the virtual separators move synchronously with the conveyor belt.
DISPLAY DEVICE AND CONTROL METHOD THEREFOR
A display device includes a display unit having a function of showing a space behind a display screen transparently and a control unit for controlling the display unit based on an input video signal. The control unit controls the display unit to display a transparent video having a transparent portion through which the space behind the display screen can be seen transparently, while displaying a main video based on the input video signal. The control unit may generate an instruction signal indicating a display period of the transparent video and may control the display unit in accordance with the generated instruction signal, or may control the display unit in accordance with an instruction signal provided externally. With this, there is provided a see-through type display device which does not hinder a vision when displaying a video for a long time.

A display case door having an insulated panel assembly, a support plate, an electronic display assembly, and a hanger bracket. The insulated panel assembly has a door frame that extends about and is coupled to the insulated panel assembly. The support plate is coupled to a top rail of the door frame and has a least one pin. The electronic display assembly is coupled to the door frame. The hanger bracket is coupled to a top surface of the electronic display assembly and has a slot sized to accept the pin. The table includes a display screen, and the display screen is operably connected to the processor. The electronic device is disposed on the table and includes a touch screen. The cable connects the electronic device to the processor. The touch screen of the electronic device is configured to display an image that changes in response to an input to the touch screen. The display screen of the table is configured to display an image that changes in response to the input to the touch screen of the electronic device. A change in the display screen image comprises a graphical continuation of a change in the touch screen image.
