Inventory monitoring system and method
The present invention discloses an inventory monitoring system with an intelligent shelf that includes a power and data communications hub having sensory logic of an inventory application, which generates sensory logic data related to inventory items tracked. Further included is a server computing device that includes a working logic of the inventory application, which updates server records using the sensory logic data received from the intelligent shelf. An Internet enabled mobile computing device having an interactive display logic of the inventory application displays updated server records received from the server computing device.
Storage system including at least one container containing medical supplies
A storage system includes at least one cabinet, a plurality of shelves adjustably positioned within the at least one cabinet, and a plurality of scales removably attached to at least one of the shelves, each of the scales including a load sensor. The storage system also includes a plurality of holders, each of the holders being configured to hold at least one container containing medical supplies, and each of the holders being supported by a respective one of the scales. The storage system also includes a receiver in operative communication with each of the load sensors. Each of the load sensors is configured to continuously measure a weight of the medical supplies contained in the respective at least one container held by the respective holder, and to communicate each detected weight to the receiver.
Anti-theft pusher with incremental distance detection
A retail merchandise pusher is configured for sliding along a pusher assembly track. The pusher assembly is mountable to a retail merchandise shelf. The pusher includes a housing, a spring drum rotatably mounted within the housing, and a coil spring mounted to the spring drum. The coil spring is coilable and uncoilable upon rotation of the spring drum. A controller is coupled to a sensor arrangement within the housing. The sensor arrangement has a spring drum sensor for detecting rotation of the spring drum. A direction sensor detects a direction of rotation of the spring drum. An incremental distance sensor detects incremental movement of the pusher. The controller is configured to calculate, based on data from the sensor arrangement, a total distance and direction of travel by the pusher, and to generate an alarm when the pusher travels more than a threshold distance within a predetermined period of time.
Dispensing and live inventory management system and methods thereof
Dispensing and live inventory management system and methods are disclosed. A shelf for items has bins each with an associated sensor. A processor receives a detection signal from the sensor which indicates placement or removal an item(s) from an associated bin. An entry device sends an entered request for placement or removal of items to the processor, and an indicator strip has lights which uniquely identify each one of the bins when lit. The processor has information relating to which bin each subset of lights is associated, and causes activation of a subset of lights associated with a bin of the item(s) in the request and records in memory a type of action, a timestamp and a quantity of the item(s) placed or removed from the bin having the subset of lights lit and indicated in the detection signal subsequently received from the sensor of the associated bin.
Shelf with solar cell event trigger
An apparatus includes a shelf having a front edge, a solar cell circuit disposed at the front edge, a display screen, and a controller operatively coupled to the solar cell circuit and the display screen. The controller monitors the period of a waveform of a charging voltage of a storage capacitor of the solar cell circuit, displays an image on the display screen in response to a change in the waveform timing. A system includes a plurality of shelves each having a front edge, a solar cell circuit disposed at the front edge of each of the plurality of shelves, and a controller operatively coupled to the solar cell circuits. The controller monitors the frequency at which a power transfer of each solar cell circuit occurs, and signals a device in response to a change in the frequency at which the power transfer occurs.
WEIGHING SUPPORT BRACKET
A weighing plate supporting a dismantlable rack, comprising a deformable portion in proximity to the load-bearing rear edge of the weighing plate; the deformable portion comprises at least one deformable cut-out and at least one strain gauge unit mechanically coupled to the deformable portion that is adapted to measure deformation when at least one load is arranged on the shelf of the rack; and the at least one strain gauge unit is arranged in shear mode for measuring the deformation of the deformable portion.
Shopping shelf
The disclosure provides a shopping shelf. The shopping shelf includes: a shelf support; and a rack detachably mounted to the shelf support; where the rack includes: a mounting bracket; a weight sensing device above the mounting bracket; a suspension bracket base above the weight sensing device; and a suspension bracket having one end detachably mounted to the suspension bracket base.
ANTI-SWEEPING HOOK WITH INTEGRATED INVENTORY MONITORING AND/OR LOSS PREVENTION FUNCTIONALITY
An anti-sweeping hook includes a display hook, a helical coil, and a rotating handle. The display hook may be substantially straight and has a first end and a second end opposite the first end. The helical coil is disposed about the display hook and extends along a lengthwise portion of the display hook. The helical coil has a first coil end proximate the first end of the display hook. Rotation of the helical coil in a first direction loads the retail merchandise onto the display hook. Rotation of the helical coil in a second direction opposite the first direction removes the retail merchandise from the display hook. The rotating handle is configured to determine a change in an amount of stored inventory based on the amount and direction of rotation of the rotating handle.
Flame retardant storage cabinet with inventory control
Systems and methods of the invention relate to managing an inventory of items within a storage container. A storage container can house one or more items for distribution among one or more users such as, for instance, employees. The storage container discussed herein provides authentication of a user, tracking of the inventory each user removes or returns, video/image capture of user during access of the storage container, wireless tracking of items housed within the storage container, among others. The storage container can provide flame retardant protection and/or electrical isolation to one or more items located within the storage container.
