Refrigeration system having a common air plenum
An air cooling system for a temperature-controlled display case includes at least two modular cooling elements, one or more fans configured to provide an air flow to the at least two modular cooling elements, and an air plenum common to each of the one or more fans and the at least two modular cooling elements, the air plenum being configured to direct the air flow from the one or more fans through the at least two modular cooling elements and into a product area of the temperature-controlled display case.

A refrigerated display case having a bottom assembly with lower lateral edges, a top assembly with upper lateral edges, a rear wall assembly and side walls; a cooling chamber at the bottom assembly; and lower securing elements in a lower region of the sidewalls and upper securing elements in an upper region of the sidewalls. The lower lateral edges of the bottom assembly near the side walls are provided with securing elements adapted to interact with lower counterpart securing elements and the upper lateral edges of the top assembly near the side walls are provided with upper counterpart securing elements, the side walls being detachably secured to the refrigerated display case by connecting the lower securing elements to the lower counterpart securing elements and by connecting the upper securing elements to the upper counterpart securing elements.
Air Over Air Refrigeration System
A food prep table may include an upper chilling zone and a lower chilling zone, with each chilling zone containing an evaporation coil system, such as a TurboCoil™ system. The two evaporation coil systems are monitored and controlled by a dual thermostat and control unit (500) having temperature sensor probes in each chilling zone and controlling solenoid valves within each evaporation coil system. By the artful use and implementation of the dual thermostat and control unit, and by the artful use of T junctures in refrigerant supply and return lines, the disclosed embodiments enable a single condensing unit (600) to service both evaporation coil systems to achieve new efficiencies in the cost, refrigeration capacity, and thermal and mechanic attributes of the system. Moreover, an efficient dual air over air flow assembly is disclosed wherein chilled air is moved within the upper chilling zone in a manner that leverages the native configuration and cabinet surface areas of the evaporation coil
MERCHANDISER WITH SUPPLEMENTAL AIR RETURN
The present invention provides a merchandiser including a case defining primary and secondary air passageways, a first fan, and an evaporator. The case includes a base having first and second air inlets, one or more walls, and a canopy cooperatively defining a product display area accessible through an opening. The evaporator is disposed in the base. A first fan is disposed in the case and generates a primary airflow through the primary air passageway. The first fan, or a second fan, generates a secondary airflow through the secondary air passageway. Air from the product display area, air outlet, or both entering the first air inlet at least partially defines the first airflow which flows through the evaporator via the primary air passageway. The secondary airflow flows through the evaporator and is at least partially defined by air flowing past the first air inlet and entering the second air inlet.
Indexing cooler
The present application provides an indexing cooler for a number of products. The indexing cooler may include an outer shell, a number of rotating product zones, and an indexing drive motor. The indexing drive motor rotates one of the rotating product zones into an exposed zone for a first predetermined length of a time.
REFRIGERATION SYSTEM WITH DEMAND FLUID DEFROST
A refrigeration system including an evaporator defining an evaporator envelope and positionable to condition an airflow, the evaporator including an airflow inlet, an airflow outlet, and one or more refrigerant coils. The refrigeration system also includes a pressure sensor that is positioned to detect an outlet air pressure at or adjacent the outlet, and positioned to detect one or both of an ambient air pressure and an inlet air pressure and to generate a signal indicative of the corresponding air pressure. A control system in operative communication with the pressure sensor to determine a pressure differential based on the signal indicative of the outlet air pressure and the signal indicative of the ambient air pressure or the inlet air pressure, the control system configured to selectively initiate a demand defrost of the evaporator based on the determined pressure differential.

A machine for making and dispensing liquid or semi-liquid products comprises, in combination: a plane element with an opening made in it; at least one container adapted to contain a basic mixture provided with an opening and inserted in the opening of the plane element; a stirrer and a refrigeration system, operatively associated with the container respectively for mixing the basic mixture and for cooling the basic mixture in such a way as to convert it into finished product; a flange which can be coupled to the plane element; means for coupling the flange to the plane element; a lid movably connected to the flange to close the opening of the container in use.
