A pillow has an independent-supporting structure, a headrest cushion, and a supporting cushion. The independent-supporting structure has a supporting plate. The supporting plate has multiple supporting elements disposed at intervals. Each one of the multiple supporting elements is elongated and is able to be independently pressed, to independently restore, and to be independently deformed. The multiple supporting elements are parallelly disposed and apart from one another. The headrest cushion is resilient and is supported by the supporting plate for supporting a head of a human. The supporting cushion is resilient and is disposed below the multiple supporting elements for supporting. When a user rests his head on the pillow, each supporting element is deformed independently to provide independent support to the cervical spine of the user.

A breathable cooling pillow includes a polymeric foam layer having a top surface, a bottom surface, and sides extending between the top surface and the bottom surface and a polymeric gel cooling layer disposed directly on the top or bottom surface. The gel cooling layer is molded, at least in part, into the foam layer. A method of making a breathable cooling pillow is disclosed.

A cushion cover includes a first chamber that includes at least one sheet, wherein the first chamber is configured to house a cushion that includes air pockets. A second chamber is sealed to the first chamber, wherein the second chamber includes a closed back end, a closed top, a closed bottom, a pair of closed sides, and an open front end. A panel, which includes at least one hole, is sealed to the first chamber and facing the open end of the second chamber. A handle is provided that includes a longitudinal strap adjoining a pair of side panels, wherein the pair of side panels are sealed to the first chamber, wherein upon a force being applied to the first chamber, air contained in the air pockets of the cushion flows through the at least one hole in the panel and into the second chamber without exiting the second chamber.

A therapeutic nesting apparatus is disclosed for a treating sensory-related, neuropsychological conditions by altering neural response to reduce sensory input and improve biological, neurological, and psychological performance. The apparatus provides for a body to lie in a natural position creating a cocoon-like sensation that allows the brain to alter neural response. The nesting apparatus allows the user's head to be relaxed for open airways and minimize strain on the neck. The lower portion of the nesting apparatus may support the legs in a gently bent position to allow the feet to be on or off the ground depending on the user's preference. The sides of the nesting apparatus are designed to hold the user's arms by their side to give a hug-like sensation as well as allowing the arms to be free.

A pillow for treating snoring and/or sleep apnea features at least one head recess having a bottom area for receiving and supporting a lateral side of a user's face, and a peripheral area spanning upwardly from the bottom area at a perimeter thereof. A neck channel extends from the head recess. The peripheral area of the head recess includes a chin region that reaches laterally outward from the neck channel at an angle and orientation such that the user's cervical spine resides in a relaxed non-extended state, and the user's mandible is maintained in a closed position. A non-restraining collar can include a unitary pillow having extending from a collar body first and second collar straps that extend opposite one another and terminate in respective distal ends separated by a space having a first distance in a relaxed state. The non-restraining collar can also include an elastically deformable spring member embedded in the unitary pillow, the elastically deformable spring member having portions extending into both of the first and second collar straps. The elastically deformable spring member can be deformed such that the first distance is increased to a second distance.

A washable pillow comprising of a molded foam core with antimicrobial resistance encased in a washable netting and a sleeve. The pillow may be washed and dried using conventional household methods without significant damage or loss of mechanical properties.

A pillow with a removable rod-shaped insert is described herein. The rod-shaped insert is removably insertable into a cavity and/or trough within the pillow. Both the rod-shaped insert and the cavity and/or trough are substantially semi-circular at each vertically oriented cross-section thereof. The cavity includes an opening in a side of the pillow opposite a side thereof which is in contact with a user's head and/or body. The rod-shaped insert has a plurality of parallel ridges on at least one outer surface thereof and extends between both lateral sides of the pillow.

In some configurations, the rod-shaped insert is a single substantially planar structure which is folded into a substantially semi-circular shape. In some configurations, the rod-shaped insert has an internal removably-insertable structure.
