DEVICES FOR SUPPLYING FLUIDS TO CUT PLANT HOLDERS

A device is provided for supplying a fluid to a cut plant. The device includes a container comprising a base and a surrounding wall extending from the base to define an enclosed space or cavity for holding the fluid. The device also includes a connector coupled to the container. The device further includes a flexible tube coupled to the connector at a first end and having a jagged open end, wherein the connector enables a fluid communication between the container and the flexible tube. A system is provided that includes such a device, a holder for the cut plant, and a fastener to secure the flexible tube to the holder. The flexible tube extends into the holder to allow the fluid to flow from the container to the holder, such that a fluid level in the container is the same as a fluid level in the holder.

Automatic watering system

Automatic watering systems for hydrating a cut tree or the like from a reservoir of standing water are described herein. Automatic watering systems may include a water source comprising a tank and a supply-water reservoir within the tank. Water may be automatically delivered from the supply-water reservoir to a tree-receiving reservoir which may be associated with a tree stand. Water in the tree-receiving reservoir may be taken up by the tree to keep the tree branches green and supple. A controller detects water levels in the supply-water reservoir and tree-receiving reservoir to control operation of a pump which pumps water to the tree-receiving reservoir for continuous tree hydration. The tank and other components of the system can be made to have the decorative appearance of a gift package to enhance the appearance of the tree and surrounding decor.

LOW WATER INDICATOR

STAND FOR CLAMPING POST/ROD-SHAPED ITEMS WITH ELECTRICAL FILL LEVEL DISPLAY DEVICE
20210038009 · 2021-02-11 ·

A stand for clamping post/rod-shaped items, comprising a housing, at least two holding elements adjoining a receiving space for receiving the pole- or rod-shaped part, a securing device, and a flexible force transmission device, wherein the holding elements are arranged so as to be angularly offset around a central axis of the receiving space and pivotable about a respective pivot axis away from the central axis in the direction of a release position and toward the central axis in the direction of a fixing position, wherein the force transmission device leads from the securing device to the holding elements, which are movably coupled with the securing device by the force transmission device, and wherein the force transmission device is pulled and/or loaded with force in a pulling direction to the securing device as a result of the movement of the securing device from a disengaged position toward an engaged position, so that the securing device counteracts or prevents a pivoting of the holding elements toward the release position by the force transmission device, wherein the stand has a fill level sensor for determining a liquid fill level in the receiving space that protrudes into the receiving space of the housing, the fill level sensor being electrically connected to an electrical display device that is arranged on an outer side of the housing, so that fill level information that can be displayed by the display device correlates with a liquid fill level determined by the fill level sensor.

Watered tree stand system

A watered tree stand system, which facilitates continual watering of a tree supported by the tree stand system, includes a base reservoir having a reservoir interior suitably configured to contain a supply of water and receive the trunk of a tree. The base reservoir is suitably configured to support a tree in an upward-standing position. A preferably see-through, water intake container is disposed in spaced-apart relationship to the base reservoir. The water intake container is suitably configured to contain a supply of refill water. An elongated water delivery conduit establishes fluid communication between the water intake container and the base reservoir.

Automated Christmas tree watering system

An automated fluid maintenance system comprising a sensor system and a pump configured to deliver fluid from a refillable reservoir to a container holding a Christmas tree, such as a Christmas tree stand. Embodiments of the system include tree attachment hardware capable of controlling the flow, delivery and direction of the fluid being pumped from the of the fluid system's reservoir to a fluid-holding container of the Christmas tree stand and further capable of securing the point of fluid delivery to the tree stand and/or the tree itself. The tree attachment device universally attaches to any available tree stand, even the most complex stand mechanisms, sizes and shapes that obstruct the path to the Christmas tree being maintained by the automated fluid delivery system of the present application.
