A liquid filtering press comprises two rigid baskets that stack together in a nested fashion to squeeze a filtration bag containing an unfiltered liquid. The liquid permeable baskets permit liquid to flow out freely through the entire surface of the filtration bag while preventing direct hand-to-liquid contact during pressing. A linkage between the baskets facilitates opening, closing, and pressing operations.

The present disclosure provides an eating utensil. The eating utensil may include a top arm pivotally attached to the bottom arm, and the interior surfaces of the arms may include rows of ridges and grooves that mate when the eating utensil is in the closed position. The eating utensil may further include a lock to hold the arms in a particular position.

A grasping tool (10) has a pair of elongate arms (20) attached via a hinge element (26). The elongate arms (20) provide gripping surfaces (28) for grasping an item therebetween. A finger engagement element (30) extends from each of the elongate arms, (20) spaced a distance from the proximal end (22). A tong with a lock that can be actuated using one hand without changing a grip on the tong and without having to change an orientation of the tong. The lock can be engaged and disengaged. by squeezing arms of the tong together. The lock can have a latch on one arm and a strike on the other arm. When the arms are squeezed together the strike engages the latch into a locked configuration. From the locked configuration, when the arms are squeezed again, the latch releases the strike.

A tong with a lock that can be actuated using one hand without changing a grip on the tong and without having to change an orientation of the tong. The lock can be engaged and disengaged. by squeezing arms of the tong together. The lock can have a latch on one arm and a strike on the other arm. When the arms are squeezed together the strike engages the latch into a locked configuration. From the locked configuration, when the arms are squeezed again, the latch releases the strike.

A one-piece construction chopsticks including symmetrical first and second portions connected to each other by a parallelepiped resilient member at a rear end thereof in a mirror image configuration. A hook on the second portion aligns and maintains positioning of the first and second portions and limits the size of an opening between a bottom side thereof. A pair of parallelelepiped rails perpendicularly disposed on a lower segment of the first portion guides and aligns the first and second portions. Interchangeable implements, such as a spoon, a fork, and a gripping tool, is attachable to the bottom side of each of the first and second portions. Thus, the present chopsticks secure a food particle between the gripping tools without the time and effort involved in developing the skills necessary to use conventional chopsticks, while also permitting the interchangeable use of an eating utensil, such as a spoon and a fork.

Layer cookie tongs include a first arm connected to a first handle and a second arm connected to a second handle. A swivel joint connects the first arm to the second arm. A layer cookie has a first cookie layer, a second cookie layer and a middle filling layer. A filling groove is formed as an indented portion of the middle filling layer edge from the first cookie layer edge and the second cookie layer edge. The first arm and the second arm are configured to engage the filling groove. The first arm as a first arm indent, and the second arm has a second arm indent.
