An active foodware system includes dining plates having visual stimulating, sensing, and wireless communication components. A visual stimulating component emits light to provide information or entertainment. The sensing component detects characteristics of the food received in the dining plate, such as weight or temperature. Data related to the food may be displayed on the visual stimulating component, or sent by the wireless communication component to a computer or mobile communication device. Computer software may display nutrition information on the visual stimulating component before, during, and after dining, or provide visual and auditory encouragement for children to eat.

INTELLIGENT MEASUREMENT CUP

Disclosed is an intelligent measurement cup, comprising a cup body and a cup cover, which covers the cup body and has an electronic module provided therein. The electronic module comprises a battery, a main control circuit board electrically connected to the battery, and a laser detection unit electrically connected to the main control circuit board. The laser detection unit comprises a laser probe and a transparent shielding sheet which covers the laser probe. The laser probe is arranged at a side facing toward the cup body. A through hole is formed in the cup cover in a manner of corresponding to the laser probe so as to allow light of the laser probe to pass through. A laser emitted from the laser probe penetrates the shielding sheet and is then incident in the cup body in a scattered manner, so as to ensure that sufficient feedback photons are formed. The spectra reflected back through different emission media are different, therefore, the conditions of a liquid, conditions comprising the remaining amount, the type, whether the liquid has deteriorated, etc., in the cup body can be accurately detected.

ELECTRONICALLY ENABLED DRINKING RECEPTACLES
20220167129 · 2022-05-26 ·

This disclosure includes a description of an electronically enabled drinking receptacle that has a liquid container, an electronic processor, an electronic drinking monitor, and a user-communicator. The drinking monitor can provide information to the electronic processor regarding an amount of liquid withdrawn from the liquid container over time and the electronic processor can be configured to actuate the user-communicator to communicate information to a user. The user-communicator can include one or more lights on the drinking receptacle, and the information communicated to the user can be configured to encourage the user to drink more liquid. The drinking receptacle can include an electronic communicator configured to communicate information between the liquid container and a separate electronic device, which can be remote from the drinking receptacle. The separate electronic device can be a mobile electronic device such as a wearable mobile electronic device.

SMART BOTTLE

Method for monitoring the use of a drinking bottle and a system for carrying out the method. A drinking bottle is designed to detect, on the basis of sensor data of at least one sensor, whether the dispensing of liquid from the drinking bottle is caused by drinking and to distinguish this from dispensing processes which do not represent drinking processes. An evaluation system collects sensor data of the at least one sensor. The evaluation system evaluates this sensor data, and if the dispensing was caused by a drinking process, stores the number of drinking processes and/or the volume of the liquid dispensing caused by drinking.

FOODWARE SYSTEM HAVING VISUAL-STIMULATING AND SENSING COMPONENTS
20230255375 · 2023-08-17 ·

An active foodware system senses food characteristics, such as weight, calories, and other nutrition. Dining dishes are removably mated with dish holders supported by a mechanical structure having visual stimulating, sensing, and wireless communication components. A visual stimulating component emits light from a dining dish. The mechanical structure protects the components and circuitry from liquid. The system may include a camera. Other components may provide data processing, auditory and haptic stimuli, wireless power, temperature sensing, and heating of food. Data related to the food is displayed on a visual stimulating component of a computer or mobile communication device, such as a mobile phone or tablet computer. The data may also be sent to the internet. Computer software displays nutrition information on the visual stimulating component, which may be displayed before, during, and/or after dining. Computer software may also provide visual and auditory encouragement for children to eat.

Liquid extraction control method and device

A liquid extraction control method includes: acquiring a current temperature value of liquid to be extracted; determining whether the current temperature value is within a predetermined temperature value range; opening a liquid flow channel when the current temperature value is within the predetermined temperature range, and closing the liquid flow channel when the current temperature value is outside the predetermined temperature range. The temperature range of the liquid to be extracted can therefore be controlled, reducing probability of injuries caused by overly hot or cold liquid through a straw, and facilitating control of the temperature and extraction amount suitable for users, so as to achieve smart and quantitative fluid extraction.
