Interconnectable table- or dinnerware articles each include an integrated rim element for releasably interconnecting the dinnerware. The rim element is a small local extension of a rim and takes the form of a U-shaped grip or slide element with an upper and a lower radial lip length L1, L2 and a thickness T. The upper lip and lower lip form a mouth opening with a width D for sideways sliding over the rim of a central dinner plate, wherein the rim element has a circular width B. On an inner side the rim element of an outer dinnerware item has a concave shape fitting exactly into the convex shape of the rim of the supporting central dinner plate. Both the upper radial lip and the lower radial lip of the rim element have an upstanding curvature that corresponds with the curvature of the rim of the central dinner plate.

The expandable beverage tray comprises a carrier body, an intermediate tray, and a bottom tray. The expandable beverage tray may be adapted to hold beverages and food being delivered by a delivery person. A top surface of the carrier body may be adapted to hold a plurality of beverage cups in a first plurality of cup apertures. The intermediate tray and the bottom tray may reside within the carrier body. The intermediate tray may be adapted to slide out of the carrier body and hold more of the plurality of beverage cups in a second plurality of cup apertures. The bottom tray may be adapted to slide out of the carrier body and hold one or more food containers.

Disclosed is an infant food tray to which a snack tray (230) is applied. The snack tray (230) includes container-accommodation spaces (232a), (232b) configured to accommodate two small side-dish containers (210). The container-accommodation spaces (232a), (232b) are formed to be surrounded by a stepped rim (234) having a step on top on an outer periphery. A sidewall (233) and a bottom (236) maintain a shape due to a rounded portion (238) so as to allow infants to separately accommodate as much as they want to eat of a large amount of cooked rice and soup in each of the container-accommodation spaces (232a), (232b) little by little or to be easily used by inserting the small side-dish containers (210) thereinto.

The present application discloses an interactive food tray that includes a food compartment having an interactive surface configured to couple with one or more modules. The one or more modules are configured to at least partially provide a non-food-based function.

A tray assembly is provided. The tray assembly includes a first tray configured to be mounted to a robot; and a second tray provided above the first tray and configured to be rotatably coupled to the first tray. The second tray includes at least one first rolling member provided on a lower surface of the second tray, which faces the first tray, and an elastic member having at least one end which is fixedly connected to the lower surface. When the second tray is rotated relative to the first tray, the second tray is configured to be returned to its original position by virtue of a restoring force of the elastic member of the second tray.

A divider for dividing a hollow interior of a pan into first and second sections includes a main body that has a bottom face, first and second end faces and a top face. The main body is configured to stand upright in the hollow interior of the pan with the bottom face for seating against a floor of the pan and first and second end faces for sealing against opposing side walls of the pan. The divider includes first and second foldable covers for covering the first and second sections. The first cover is coupled to the top face along an inner edge thereof and the second cover is coupled to the top face along an inner edge thereof. First and second coupling tabs protrude outwardly from the main body and are configured to engage top edges of the opposing side walls of the pan.

A food portioning system to more accurately and/or quickly portion food served from a food container includes a support for a container and a bracket coupled with the support. The bracket includes a scrape bar positioned above the support to level food within a serving implement. The scrape bar can also be used as a handle to carry, insert, and/or remove the food container from a steam table. The scrape bar can be adjustable relative to the support to position the scrape bar at varying heights. Such food portioning systems can be used to support a food container within a food well or on a countertop.

The present invention discloses a disposable takeout food container, comprising a first sleeve cover, and a second sleeve cover. An apparatus and an associated method that includes a lap tray, the lap tray having a flat portion and a raised perimeter edge, wherein the flat portion defines a top surface and a bottom surface, wherein the flat portion defines an aperture. The apparatus further includes a tray compartment operably engaged with the lap tray. The tray compartment has a sidewall and a bottom wall, the sidewall and the bottom wall define, in part, an interior space accessible via the aperture. A lid operably engaged with the tray compartment is configured to enclose the interior space of the tray compartment.
