CONTAINER OR VESSEL HAVING AN ANTI-SPLASH DEVICE AND AN ANTI-SPLASH DEVICE FOR A CONTAINER OR A VESSEL
A drinking vessel may include a tumbler having an inner surface dimension, a first portion, and a second portion. The first portion may include a proximal surface having a first dimension and a first rim coupled to the proximal surface and having a second dimension, the first dimension being larger than the second dimension. The second portion may include a collar having an outer dimension substantially similar to the first dimension, an inner dimension substantially similar to the second dimension, and a second rim connected to the collar and having an outer dimension substantially similar to the second dimension and the inner surface dimension.
Drinking device
A drinking device for the retronasal perception of an aroma substance comprises a storage container (12) for drinking liquid, at least one aroma container (20), through which air can flow, and a transporting channel (18) for drinking liquid, the transporting channel running from the storage container (12) to a mouth end (28) of the drinking device (10), and also comprises an air channel (22) for transporting aromatized air, said air channel running from at least one of the at least one aroma containers (20) to the transporting channel (18) for drinking liquid or to the mouth end (28).
DRINKING STRAW WITH INTERNAL COATING
A drinking straw comprising an elongate tubular body of an insoluble material having an internal coating comprising a matrix containing an active agent dispersed within the matrix, the body sized to allow a carrier liquid to be drawn therethrough such that passage of the carrier liquid causes the matrix to release the active agent into the carrier liquid to be consumed by a drinker. The matrix comprises partially hydrolysed guar gum, an acid and a modified cellulose. The active agent includes sweetener, flavour, a nutrient and/or a pharmaceutical and optionally colour. The coating is prepared by mixing the matrix with water to form a paste or syrup and is then used to coat the inside surface of a drinking straw to a thickness of less than 1 mm. Liquid drawn through the straw dissolves or breaks down the coating, releasing the active agent into the liquid for consumption.
DRINKING DEVICE
A drinking device for the retronasal perception of an aroma substance comprises a storage container for drinking liquid, at least one aroma container, through which air can flow, and a transporting channel for drinking liquid. The transporting channel runs from the storage container to a mouth end of the drinking device. The drinking device also comprises an air channel for transporting aromatized air. The air channel running runs from at least one of the at least one aroma containers to the transporting channel for drinking liquid or to the mouth end.
Protective Drinking Guard
This present invention relates to a protective barrier for a rim of a beverage container, such as a glass, cup, mug, or the like. More specifically, the protective barrier is removably attachable on the rim of the beverage container, thereby allowing the user to place his or her lips and mouth on the protective barrier, rather than directly on the beverage container. The protective barrier may be disposable or reusable, and may further be comprised of an antimicrobial substance, an adhesive and a plurality of flavor crystals that release a flavor to the beverage as it is consumed across the protective barrier.
The matrix comprises partially hydrolysed guar gum, possibly in combination with an acid and/or modified cellulose.
DRINKING APPARATUS AND DRINKING VESSEL
A drinking device comprises a drinking straw with an inner flow channel and a drinking end and an aroma container connected with the drinking straw for adding an aroma substance to an air flow flowing out of the aroma container. The aroma container comprises at least one air outlet opening which is in flow connection either with at least one aroma inlet opening into the inner flow channel or with an aroma channel extending up to the drinking end of the drinking straw. The aroma container is able to be coupled with the drinking straw in such a way that, when applying a negative pressure at the drinking end or at a mouthpiece connected with the drinking end, the air flow exits from the aroma container through the air outlet opening. The aroma container comprises an aroma chamber containing a carrier substance for an aroma substance, wherein the carrier substance preferably has a specific flow resistance of less than 500 Pa.Math.s/m.
AROMA CONTAINER AND DRINKING DEVICE HAVING AN AROMA CONTAINER
An aroma container for adding an aroma substance to an air flow flowing through the aroma container. The aroma container comprises an upper wall, a lower wall and at least one side wall, which surround an aroma chamber. The container includes at least one air inlet opening into the aroma chamber, and at least one air outlet opening out of the aroma chamber, wherein a carrier substance for the aroma substance is present in the aroma chamber. A head space may be provided between the carrier substance and the side of the upper wall facing the aroma chamber. The carrier substance comprises a nonwoven material, wherein the air permeability L of the nonwoven material at a differential pressure of 100 Pa is L≥200 l/(m.sup.2.Math.s), and preferably between 220 l/(m.sup.2.Math.s) and 280 l/(m.sup.2.Math.s).
Water Bottle Device with Attachable Infusion Container
The present invention relates to a water bottle device with attachable infusion container. During use, a container of the device holding a powdered substance can be attached to a water bottle of the device by removing the lid of the bottle. Then, the powdered substance can be released from the container into the water bottle for mixing with the liquid in the water bottle.
