ORGANIZATIONAL SYSTEMS AND COMPONENTS

Organizational systems and associated components and methods for garages, sheds, basements or other spaces that have exposed wall or ceiling elongated members are provided. One such component includes a bracket having a first wall, a second wall facing the first wall and spaced apart from the first wall, and a third wall interconnecting the first and second walls. The first, second and third walls cooperatively define a channel for receiving the elongated member. The bracket includes an interface for releasable attachment of a storage component to the bracket. A clamp foot is movably coupled to the first wall. The clamp foot is translatable between an engaged position and a released position to respectively engage and release the elongated member received in the channel.

One embodiment provides a mounting structure including a hook member to be mounted on a mount member, and a mounting member. A base part of the hook member protrudes from the front side of the mount member. In the mounted state, a locking part of the hook member locks with a back rim of a mounting hole. An operation part of the mounting member is operated during the mounting on the mount member. An engaging part of the mounting member can engage with the locking part at the back side of the mount member. The mounted state is achieved by sliding, via an operation applied to the operation part, the mounting member substantially parallel to a front surface or a back surface of the mounting hole, such that the engaging part engages with the locking part.

An accessory hub joins accessories such as towel bars and robe hooks to a wall. In order to attach the accessory to the wall, a collet is fastened to the wall. The accessory hub may be joined to the collet with a spring-loaded button extending from the collet that is inserted into a receiver in the accessory hub. A first cleat portion on the collet mates with a second cleat portion on the accessory hub further securing the accessory hub to the collet. The accessory may then be attached to the accessory hub. The accessory hub may be detached from the collet without damaging the wall by depressing the button into the collet and disengaging the first and second cleat portions.

MOUNTING ASSEMBLY

A mounting assembly (101, 201, 301, 401) for mounting an accessory (102, 202, 302, 402) is provided. The mounting assembly (101, 201, 301, 401) includes a mounting bracket (103, 203, 303, 403) with an aperture arranged to receive a fastener for fastening the mounting bracket (103, 203, 303, 403) to a surface. A supporting structure is provided between the mounting bracket (103, 203, 303, 403) and the accessory (102, 202, 302, 402) with an elongate hollow member (107, 207, 307, 407) substantially surrounding the supporting structure. The elongate hollow member (107, 207, 307, 407) is releasably secured to the mounting bracket (103, 203, 303, 403) with the mounting bracket (103, 203, 303, 403) and the elongate hollow member (107, 207, 307, 407) having complementary male-and-female mating formations which are arranged to inhibit rotation of the elongate hollow member (107, 207, 307, 407) relative to the mounting bracket (103, 203, 303, 403).

Self-Organizing Hanging System

A self-organizing hanging system generally includes at least two main components—bars and keys. The bars have at least three embodiments: standard embodiment, valet embodiment, and shelf embodiment. Each embodiment has variations of embodiments of bars and keys. Each of the bars and keys can have embodiments of magnetic elements and anti-rotation elements. The keys have additional opportunities for variations of embodiments to couple with a product support. In at least one aspect, the bars can be formed with receiver stations at predetermined spacing to cause organized placement for coupling keys with the bars. Further, the bars and keys can be coupled to appear as an integral assembly with one or more external surfaces in planar uniformity.
