A luggage system having a removable decorative storage crown for receiving and temporarily storing clothing items, such as suit jackets, uniforms, costumes, or other items using the same device that is used as a pull-handle. A stand element can be unfolded from the base of the luggage to act as a support, preventing the device from tipping when in a clothing rack orientation, but which can simply fold away when the luggage is being transported. A telescoping rod terminating in a cap may extend from the decorative storage crown for hanging hangers from the rod.

A sports equipment rack for convenient storage, transportation, and drying of sports equipment. The sports equipment rack includes a vertical shaft configured to substantially resemble a hockey stick, the vertical shaft having a top portion and a bottom portion. The sports equipment rack also includes one or more sets of opposing horizontal members, the opposing horizontal members having a first end and an opposing end; one or more fastening attachments in communication with the opposing end; and a plurality of openings.

A support frame disposed on a support surface comprises: a support member disposed on the support surface; a top block disposed on a top end of the support member; a first moving block having a first through hole, the support member penetrating through the first through hole; and two first flexible bands, overlapped to each other, two central portions of the two first flexible bands being positioned on the top block, two ends of each of the two first flexible bands being connected with the first moving block and set on two sides of the first through hole.

A rack for storing equipment gear and methods for using the same are provided. In one embodiment, the equipment gear rack includes a base with a plurality of structural members for storing and displaying an equipment gear set. The plurality of structural members may include a helmet display member with an angled protruding body for supporting a head piece. An interactive valet having a frame to support hangers to receive and support garments such as, for example, a trouser hanger, a coat hanger, a tray and a hamper support. Load cells coupled to one or more of these supporting structures detect the deposit of an article thereon and generate one or more signals to a processor. The processor, in response to receiving a signal from a load cell or from a plurality of load cells, generates a response signal to a response device thereby causing the response device to produce an audible response, a visual response, or a combination thereof. The processor may be programmable to generate response signals that are customized to the load cell or plurality of load cells that detect the deposit of an article on a structure of the interactive valet, or customized to the user, or both.

A furnishing construction and a method accomplish selective conversion of the furnishing between a compact folded structure providing a valet stand, and an expanded unfolded structure providing a luggage rack. The folded structure easily is stored in a minimal space, and readily is moved to a convenient location to serve as a valet stand, or unfolded to serve as a luggage rack.
