A deposit receptacle for secure acceptance of parcels and of hanging clothing is provided that prevents unauthorized removal of the deposited articles. The deposit receptacle includes a one-part or multi-part frame, a roof, a floor, a front pivoting upper input door, a front locking hinged lower retrieval door, a locking hinged side access door for both deposit and retrieval, a clothing hanger installed within the roof, a front panel, and a securing system incorporated into the floor that enables the deposit receptacle to be securely and easily fastened to the supporting structure upon which the receptacle is resting.

A garment hanger for holding a garment has body having a top portion with a first shoulder portion and a second shoulder portion. A hooking member includes an arm that extends away from the body to a hook that can be hooked on an object, such as a bar. A connection mechanism that connects the hooking member to the body includes a hinge mechanism that allows the hooking member to be rotated towards and away from the body so that the garment hanger can be moved from an unfolded configuration to a folded configuration. The garment hanger can also include one or more protrusions on the body that can engage a notch to secure the hooking member in the folded configuration and/or to allow for cascading of a plurality of garment hangers. In one version, the garment hanger is designed to hold swimwear.

The present invention relates to a multipurpose storage rack for storing unused or idle clothing hangers. The rack is configured to store a plurality of clothing hangers while minimizing storage space and features a felt print fabric, available in various styles and colors, measuring, for example, 12-inches wide and 58-inches long. The top end of the fabric has a hanger for hanging the fabric on any wall-mounted hook or rod. Further, the fabric has a multitude of pairs of symmetrical hooks for supporting idle hangers in an upside-down orientation wherein each pair, in one exemplary embodiment, can accommodate up to 10 hangers. The hooks can be sewn into the fabric or can be attached to a rod positioned inside the loops of the fabric.

The hanger storage device may further include one or more compartments defined at least partially by the floor and the one or more sidewalls; one or more alignment pegs disposed in the one or more compartments, wherein the one or more alignment pegs may be formed in the floor and extend perpendicularly upward therefrom, and wherein the one or more alignment pegs may be configured to receiving a hook portion of the hanger; and a lid, wherein the lid may be configured to secure atop the one or more sidewalls thereby enclosing the one or more compartments.

A rack for storing empty coat hangers that has a rectangular shape with an upper horizontal beam, a coplanar lower horizontal, a left vertical bar, and a coplanar right vertical bar. The left and the right vertical bars are about identical in shape, and both the left and the right vertical bars have a set of upwardly slanted frontal teeth separated by upwardly slanted rounded horizontally grooved recesses. An empty coat hanger having a center hooked element, a left arm and a right arm, and a horizontal rod will hang almost upside down by the horizontal rod when the horizontal rod is seated in a pair of the horizontally grooved recesses. The rack has a mounting element centered on the upper horizontal beam therein enabling the rack to be mounted on a wall, substantially perpendicular to a level floor, with a sheet rock screw or a nail.

The hanger storage device may further include a divider disposed and extending substantially across the container base from a first corner of the container base to a second corner of the container base diagonally opposite that of the first corner of the container base; two compartments defined at least partially by the floor, sidewalls, and divider; alignment pegs, one disposed in each of the two compartments, wherein the alignment pegs may be formed in the floor and extend perpendicularly upward therefrom, and wherein the alignment pegs may be configured to receive a hook portion of a hanger; and a lid, wherein the lid may be configured to secure atop the sidewalls thereby enclosing the one or more compartments.

A keeper for orderly storage and/or conveyance of clothing hangers includes an elongate hanger collection and retention chute dependently supported within a chute support recess, which recess is provided in connection with a generally elongate rigid body. The chute comprises an open end to a central slot, running substantially the length of the chute, and whereby the chute receives the corner portion of a number of clothing hangers. The rigid body has a guide directing the corner portion of a hanger through an open throat of the body and into the open end of the collection and retention chute. Protuberances, provided in generally aligned pairs extending from the interior side walls of the chute, jut inward toward the central slot to demark, and serve as stops between, provided adjacent hanger support slots.
